'I can't believe she did that. She's so mean, I'm sorry Jules.' My best friend, Kendall, texted me. I just got back from hanging out with Jane and Alex at the park. They weren't my best friends, more like acquaintances. There was an 8th grader who went to my school, walking with his girlfriend. He was totally gorgeous, but his girlfriend put her arm around him, and laughed at me as they walked by. His friends started to bully me, just because I liked him.

'Yeah, well, I'm going to take a shower and turn in early. Night.' I texted quickly and walked into the bathroom, my eyes strained with tears.

"Why me?" I asked my reflection. "Why is it always me?" I grabbed a tissue and wiped my tears, promising myself that I would later cut for the first time in a while.

I turned on the shower, to molten lava, and stepped in. I let the water relax my body as I silently sat down in the corner, tears still pouring from my eyes.

I decided to get out, a while after the water turned freezing. I wrapped a towel around my body and walked back to my dreary room.

I sighed and got dressed, seeing my phone light up with a notification. A new follower on Instagram. I rolled my eyes, but opened my phone anyways. '@samisawesome has followed you.' The notification said.

I decided to try to take my mind off of everything and check out his account.

'Him, him, him and James, James, food, Pierce The Veil?' I thought as I scrolled down. I decided to follow back, not thinking much of it, until he commented on my Sleeping With Sirens picture. 'I saw them in concert last month.' And I smiled a little. '@samisawesome that's awesome, you're so lucky.' He then replied 'Ikr! @julesjules'

And it ended with that. I didn't want to bug him, so I ignored it and heard the front door open, signaling my mother was home. Great. I slipped into some pajamas and fell asleep to the sound of her making dinner and the thoughts of Sam in my mind. I just couldn't shake his blonde hair, his piercing blue eyes, and his smile. His smile was gorgeous, but I would never have a chance with him. He's to popular, I'm to gothic. It never works out.
