I hated the uniform. The short, slutty, black skater skirt. The red shirt, where the buttons stopped literally just after covering my breasts. Then the black, miniscule apron with red detailing, even with the name of the diner on it. I hated the uniform, it was truly embarrassing. The fact is I showed my underwear to the whole world. I got wanting looks from middle-aged drunken men. I don't know how I have lasted this long in the business. I might have well be in a stripper club, as one of the dancers.

The table I was now serving was regulars. They came here at least once a fortnight. The trio consisted of; Lilly, she was a lesbian, masculine body, very muscular, although pretty at the same time, she had a lovely sense of humour; her laugh was hearty and wholesome. I loved her coming in, she always made me smile, even with the useless flirting, it made the shift bearable. Which made me sound extremely sad. Bobby, who was a large, muscular man, covered in tattoos, I always wanted tattoos. Just never had the money or the right design. He had a large beard, it came to half way down his chest. A lot like his hair, but he kept that up in a ponytail.

I knew that Bobby and Lilly were siblings, but from the look of them, you wouldn't have really known. His hair dark brown, then his beard an auburn color, his face quite round and extremely biker looking. Bobby himself just looked like a biker, with his leather jacket on, the arms removed, then denim jeans, his usually black or grey plain t-shirt. He was an extremely butch guy, his biceps were bigger than my waist. Lilly on the other hand, was butch, but not nearly half as much as her brother. Her short pixie cut, blonde hair framed her heart shaped face wonderfully. She usually wore tank tops, any color, and skinny jeans, she only hand one tattoo that she left on show, a rose design with a snake incorporated into it.

The man they sat with, his name David, I think, was the complete opposite of the Chandler siblings. His skin was pale, his hair ebony black, his eyes a storm blue, his face was like porcelain, his features so delicate. He wasn't a loud person, he kept quiet and only smiled when the Chandlers were hysterical, to the point that Bobby looks like he is going to cry. He didn't seem to fit with the siblings. His place in the group was slightly bizarre. But it was not my place to say, it never was, I am the waitress, they are the customers.

I shoved open the kitchen door with my back, then spinning around and catching it with my left foot. Lilly's pancake was in my left hand, she always had the bacon ones with maple syrup. Bobby's was placed next to Lilly's, it was resting and balancing on the towel on my arm. Bobby was having the all day breakfast, like he always did, extra bacon, extra bread. David, had powdered doughnuts, he never kept his choice the same. Always swapping and switching his choice on the menu, but he never swapped his seat. They always sat in the same order, the order of my plates, Lilly and Bobby next to each other, on the left side of the booth. David on his own, at the right side. Lilly and Bobby were laughing like they always do, David smirking. They only simmered down once I got there with their food. It smelt amazing, the cook here was fantastic, but grumpy and stuck up. So I never managed to get a single bite of food while on the twelve hour shift. I had breaks, but if a customer came in, the break stopped.

"The bacon pancakes with maple syrup," I placed the plate down on the table and slightly slid it to Lilly, "All Day Breakfast, extra bacon and bread," sliding the plate off my arm and onto the table in front of Bobby, "and the powdered doughnuts." the plate went down lightly in front of David. I got a very quiet "Thank you." from David, a nod from Bobby, then a cocky smile from Lilly before, "Is this all I get? Come on Darling." Her smile rising and growing even bigger by the millisecond.

"And what else can I get you 'Darling'?" Her smile was contagious and I found myself smirking.

"A kiss." Her smile was now stretched all the way across her face.

My heart rate was not disturbed by the question, it never was anymore. The first couple of times, my heart rate raced, my cheeks became fire truck red and I was mortified, I could not look like that at work. These days this was my reaction, "Not now, I'm not allowed to show any interest in customers, and sexual interests, come back after my shift is over." We both laughed a little bit, before the bell in the kitchen rang and I had another order to give to customers. I turned away, but before I blew a kiss to Lilly, then walked back to the kitchen with a smile on my face and I slight warm feeling in my soul.

Quinn, was as moody as ever, he shoved the plated towards me and shouted the table number and turned back round to do.... something, I'm not sure what it was and I sure as hell was not going to ask him, last time I did, I had a frying pan thrown at me. He was slender, with a deep, dark brown nest of hair on his head and stubble on his face. He constantly had dark circles around his eyes. He was a mess, and I think he liked it that way. Who was I to question?

Scooping up the plate in my hand, I turned and exited the small kitchen. It was table seven, right in the far corner of the diner. The product was a sandwich, it smelled delicious and my stomach yearned for food, although my sweet thoughts of food was soon destroyed as my behind was slapped by a large guy, with a beard starting to form, a body warmer on and a baseball cap. He was probably in his late thirties/early forties and was clearly, intoxicated. It surprised me and only encouraged me to get to the table faster. I heard him laughing behind me and had to swallow my anger. This is what I absolutely hated about the job. This place was notorious for having drunks and problems. It got a decent pay but long hours and bad company. It was the only place that would employ me, because of my condition.

I placed the plate down on the right side of the table, that's where the man was sitting, "There you go hu..." It wasn't a man, pale grey cracking skin covered its body, It was lumpy and jiggered and he looked like rocks. He generally looked like rocks. Like Peeta in The Hunger Games. His eyes were grey, fully grey, no iris, no pupils, no whites, just grey. He wasn't wearing any shirt either, letting his grey skin be on show, it was horrible. I felt cold, freezing actually, I wanted to scream, it wasn't human, it couldn't be. My heart was racing, but my lungs refused to work, I had goosebumps, my throat and mouth became dry. I was freezing but I could feel sweat prickling on my neck. I couldn't move or talk or do anything. The thing smiled, "Hello my dear, thank you for the food." I felt a massive knot in my chest go, then I turned from the creature. It had to be another episode, it just had to be. That's it, I've lost my sense of reality.

My stomach churned, bile rose in my throat, I had to get to the toilets, I practically ran. Through the door, into a cubicle. I bent over the toilet, and lost the little food I had eaten this morning. I had officially gone insane.
