Hey guys!
Thank-you for all of your comments and votes last week. I am glad to announce that my second story on Wattpad, 'Opportunity Of A Lifetime' has reached 1000 reads. Its crazy but so overwhelming. I can't wait to write the next chapter.
Anyways, onto the article. Now, last week I didn't actually get any suggestions for films to review so if you would like me to review any film you have seen/want to see then make sure you comment. I will do every film that is commented.
As always, enjoy the column and vote, follow, comment! <3
Okay, I am firstly going to look at recent movie news.
Let's start with The Hunger Games! I'm sorry if you don't particularly like hunger games but there will be more in my column this week so stick around.
Back to the film, the first hunger games was released in 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson. It stars the rating of 67/100 on metascore and 7.2/10 on popular film website IMDb.
The sequeal 'Catching Fire' is to be released soon. Are you one of The Hunger Games biggest fans? Can't wait for the movie? Here is a short extract of an article written by msn about the new movie:
Though their lives are vastly different, Jennifer Lawrence has revealed that she identifies with her Hunger Games character, Katniss Everdeen.
The actress revealed in an interview with Empire magazine that Katniss' struggle with fame in Catching Fire mirrors her own experience: "It's hard to say you identify with someone who's facing life and death and war," she said. "It's not like, 'Oh my God that's, like, totally how I feel'.
"But there is the connection in that she doesn't feel like just part of the town anymore. Now everyone treats her as a celebrity... Whereas she still feels like she's part of them."
I hope you liked that article, I read it and thought it was pretty cool. Right, onto other movies.
Okay, now is some news from an upcoming movie from Disney, Cinderella.
This is also an article written by msn (they write really good articles, haha!):
Disney has released the first image from their upcoming live action remake of the classic fairy tale Cinderella.
The shot shows Cinderella, played by Downton Abbey's Lily James, riding away on a rather majestic-looking horse.
Wearing a blue dress, Lily looks every inch the Disney princess - we can't wait to see more pictures from the film.
Okay, last film for movie news. Drumroll........
It's Thor: The Dark World-
Check this out:
Superhero movie fans, get your hammers ready: the new Thor movie is almost upon us. And, just to tease us that little bit more, the folks at Marvel have revealed two brand new posters of the leading ladies in Thor: The Dark World to get us in the mood.
The new posters reveal Natalie Portman as Jane Foster - Thor's love interest - and Jaimie Alexander as Sif, looking as spectacularly epic as you might imagine.
The UK release date is 30 October, so you have just over a month to wait but, if you can't hold on that long, click through our gallery of images from the Thor sequel, including posters and some sneak peeks at the movie itself.
Okay, before I finish up I am going to say thank-you to RachelS8766 who had me in heaps of laughter from the comment she left for me. :D
I would love to have Thors powers! Anyway, since no-one commented last week I really wasn't sure what film/s to review so please, please, please comment with a film you would like me to review because I would like to add some for next week.
As always, thanks for reading!,
