Unfortunately, Asriel turned her question down, saying she was a dirty pathetic peasant that did not belong in his elegant, fancy castle. Alphys was taken aback, and became furious. So, she cast a spell on him. He would forever be a hideous monster cast away in solitude. And the only way to brake the spell was True Love. Not LOVE, but True, True, Love.
