" I can totally do the grocery shopping by myself. " When she didn't believe me, I raised an eyebrow. " Really."
She nodded, thankfully. " Alright, honey. Money's on the coffee table. "
I turned and went out the house, excited to get to the store. Only to return a second later for the money.
" I'll be back in an hour or so !"
Shutting the door behind me, I ran to the car.
