The title may seem that it has no meaning and I'm just losing my mind, but I swear I'm trying to get somewhere with it. Just hang tight.

Bandaids. Everybody has some. Everybody has used one at least once before. They worked their beautiful magic when you were younger and you had scraped your knee, right? Bandaids made EVERY thing better. World War Three? Gimme a bandaid and I'll be perfectly fine.

No one likes sucky bandaids that never stick, but we tend to settle due to pricing. And if you don't, enjoy your name brand bandaids.

The other night I realized that I hurt all over. Not physically, but emotionally. I'm crazy stressed about this huge presentation I have to do, and finals. I have bumps and bruises and scrapes from life. And I hurt. Then I realized I have the best bandaid brand on the entire planet. Jesus. So I asked him to be my bandaid and completely cover me. And I'll tell you right now, the bandaid is silvery and sparkly.

You may be like, Maddie, you idiot. Why are you comparing Jesus to a bandaid? Bear with me. I don't hurt any more. My bumps and bruises and scrapes are in the process of healing. The bandaid worked. Jesus is my bandaid that heals the wounds of this world.

Who knows what 22Q is? If you do, message me. My sister was diagnosed with 22Q deletion syndrome in February. We wanted to keep her diagnoses quiet. Then we realized, we can't keep this a secret. Every one needs to know about this condition.

22Q deletion syndrome is the second most common chromosomal disorder, second to Downs syndrome. It presents itself in many ways from person to person. Many people experience cognitive and learning issues. Speech delays and social skill problems are also common.

Take a moment to educate yourself about this disorder so maybe you can start to understand the struggles my family, and others, encounter daily.
