Heheheh. HEHEHEH. HEHEHEHEHEHEHE! Huh? What? My laugh making you uncomfortable? Hilarious. Anyhow, the reason I'm laughing like I blew something up is because I'm going to! And not only am I going to blow something up, that thing is going to be poor ol' Ellegaard.
Now you're probably thinking, "Blow her up? Why?" As a prank, of course! A birthday prank! Soren and Gabriel have agreed to let me plan Ellie's birthday party!
I grabbed a bunch of TNT, gunpowder, and redstone. Well, she loves redstone, right? I headed into the kitchen to bake her a birthday cake, because I'm nice like that! (No. It's so I can blow it up.) I threw in all the ingredients, like wheat, sugar, milk, eggs... And gunpowder. Mmm.
I wasn't sure how the cooking would go since there was gunpowder, but luckily nothing exploded, except my mind when I saw how perfect my cake was. It looked delicious, and explosive because of the gunpowder. I threw on some frosting and whatever that red stuff is we put on cakes.
I am a cooking master.
Soren seemed to have smelled the cake and walked in the kitchen.
"Are you making a cake?" He asked.
"Why, yes," I said. "Just for Ellie's birthday!"
"Oh, I almost forgot about that!" He said. "I can't wait to see what you have planned!"
"Yes..." I rubbed my hands together like the villain I was. "I can't wait either."
"Nice apron by the way," he turned to leave. "Bye!"
Oh yeah, I forgot that part.
I grabbed a redstone block and broke it down to a little stick, like a candle. Then I made it into one by adding the string thing. I put it on the cake.
You see where I'm going with this, right?
Then the cake was done. I put it on the table we were going to celebrate at.
You know what everyone LOVES at parties? No, it's not TNT, good guess though. It's PIÑATAS! And you know what I love? Yes, it's TNT! And you know what two things go great together? No, not TNT and redstone torches, good guess again though. It's TNT and piñatas!
I grabbed a piñata and stuffed some TNT in it. Then I grabbed my special stick to hit it with, enchanted with Fire Aspect. That should be enough to set off the TNT!
Now, no birthday is complete without presents. What kind of friend would I be if I didn't give my beloved Ellie a present for her birthday? And you know what the BEST kind of present is? Wow, you're getting better at guessing, it's TNT!
I put some TNT into a trapped chest on the table. I labelled the chest: TO ELLIE, FROM MAGNUS. Then I hid TNT under the table for the chest to set off. 'Cuz what's better than TNT? More TNT!
I felt like it was finally ready. I would've put more TNT, but I was running out of time, and Ellegaard might've just quit if there was too much.
Of course, I always have to start things off with a bang...
Ellie loves her redstone-activated things, and so she had pressure plates in front of her doors. She wanted to replace them with something more complex and private, but was too busy with some other project. But now she would HAVE to replace the pressure plates...
...Because I put TNT in front of it.
"Oh, ELLIE!" I called. "Happy birthday!"
She stepped out of her room, and immediately noticed the lit TNT.
"I hate--"
BOOM!
"--you."
I laughed while she just glared at me. So, I blew up your door, you don't have to glare at me! Laugh! It was a prank!
"That wasn't funny, Magnus." She wiped the ash off her face.
"Aw, C'mon," I smiled at her. "I thought you wanted to replace those doors!"
"Well now I'm making them Magnus-proof," Ellie grumbled.
I managed to stop laughing. "Well, your party is ready," I told her. "Soren, Gabriel, and Ivor are waiting for us!"
She followed me to the room where her party was at.
"Happy birthday!" The other three members of the Order shouted. They had their own presents set up near mine. Better make sure Ellie opens mine last...
"We let Magnus plan your party!" Gabriel told her.
"You WHAT?!" She sounded surprised. "Do you guys know what he did?!"
"Nah," Soren said. "We let him set everything up himself, we have no idea what he's done!"
Ellie sighed and shook her head, muttering "oh no..."
"Aw, c'mon, Ellie!" I put my hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong with me planning your party?"
It seemed like she was about to list a thousand things, when Gabriel noticed one of my traps.
"Is that a piñata?!" He stared at it in amazement. "I LOVE PIÑATAS!"
"Let's do the cake first!" Soren decided. "If... It's okay with you."
"Sure," Ellie sighed. She walked over to the cake. "What..."
"Happy 980th birthday, Ellie!" I shouted the same thing the cake frosting said.
"I'm not 980 years old!" She exclaimed.
"Sure, Oldegaard, who cares?" I said. "Just light the candle!"
"Umm..." She didn't seem to trust me.
"I made it out of redstone, just for you!"
Soren nodded. "She loves redstone, good job!"
But Ellie seemed to realize that there was more to the redstone. "I'm not sure if we should--"
"Come on," Ivor said with his arms crossed. "Get on with it!"
She held the lighter and stared at the candle.
"Go on," I got closer to her. "LIGHT THE CANDLE..."
She lit the candle. In seconds, the cake exploded, just as planned.
"Geez, Magnus," Soren licked frosting off his face. "Even your COOKING is explosive!"
Ellie glared at me. She had to look down, of course, because I was busy rolling on the floor laughing.
Soren grabbed a piece of exploded cake and ate it. "What is that? Gunpowder? What an interesting ingredient!"
"Now, I wonder why THAT is in the recipe?" Ellie asked, rather than asking how Soren was able to identify the taste of gunpowder.
"Well I think this is a perfect time to open my present to you," Ivor said.
"Uhh, why?" Ellie asked.
"Open it and see!"
Ellie opened the present that Ivor pointed to. She pulled out some cleaning materials.
"I heard you had to clean up a lot of redstone," Ivor explained. "And I'd been working on a lot of cleaning potions. Since I don't seem to have many good ideas, I just gave you those."
"Uh, thanks," Ellie put the stuff away and glared at me. "But I'M not going to be the one to clean up this mess."
I got up. "Aw, c'mon! Be fair!"
Gabriel whispered something to Ivor.
"Well, at least I tried." Ivor responded.
"So, should I open the other presents, or...?" Ellie pointed to them. Was it just me, or did she not point to mine?
"Yeah, sure," I told her. "Whatever you--"
I happened to see Gabriel holding the piñata stick, ready to hit the piñata. "GABRIEL, DON'T--"
BOOM!
"... I'm fine!"
Ellie glared at me.
"Are your eyes stuck like that, Ellie?" I asked.
"When I'm around you, yes." She gestured to Gabriel, who had just gotten up. She raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, I know," I shook my head. "He hit YOUR piñata!" Gabriel looked down, but Ellie face-palmed.
"I don't care about that!" She said. "What I DO care about is everyone's safety! Why'd you set this up to explode?!"
I raised MY eyebrow at HER. "Why WOULDN'T I?"
"It IS pretty dangerous..." Ivor stated. Psh. What does HE know?
"Well, we can just put ALL of THIS behind us!" I spread my arms to bring more attention to me. "Let's open presents!"
Ellie seemed fine with that. She walked over to the presents. Soren had given her a bunch of redstone blocks. Why would she need MORE of those? But she seemed to like it. Gabriel gave her a thumbs up, but that wasn't good enough, so he ran to get something. He came back with some arrows, dispensers, and a pillow. She accepted the gifts.
Then it was time for her to open the last present. She looked at the word MAGNUS written on it with dread. She slowly reached to open it. Very slowly. She slowly started to lift the lid. VERY SLOWLY. The suspense was killing everyone. I was really excited. I didn't even realize I was jumping up and down, knowing what would happen.
Then the lid had opened far enough. Only about an inch, but we heard the click of a trapped chest, and the hiss of TNT. Ellie quickly shut the chest, but there's no stopping TNT! ...how much did I put in there, plus the ones under the table?
BOOOM!!!!! (that's five exclamation marks, one for each of us!)Ivor passed around healing potions to each of member of the Order. He had been standing far enough away as to not take as much damage from my present.
He gave me and Ellie more than just potions, though. He gave Ellie a golden apple, and me a slap in the face.
Ivor wasn't the only one to give me something, however. Ellie came over with Ivor's present: the cleaning materials.
"You're going to need this," she handed me the stuff. "But be sure to return it once you've fixed the dining room." She gestured to the giant crater.
"I'll return it to your FACE," I grumbled. I got to cleaning.
Ellegaard can put people in a bad mood pretty quickly. The others say it's just me, though. That doesn't seem right. How can ANYONE stand her?
But I had a fun time. It was hilarious, all the explosions!
While happily thinking about the day and cleaning, I noticed Ellegaard watching from a distance. She had a look of satisfaction, seeing me clean up my mess, but there was more to her gaze.
There was vengeance.
