The next weekend I woke up hungover. Again. What can I say? I'm a creature of habit. I decided coffee was a good idea, and maybe I really wanted to see the cute barista again. I left the house, making sure my wallet was in my pocket, and actually contained money.

"Hey, Super Girl!" I greeted when I saw her behind the counter.

"Good morning, Hangover Boy!" she laughed. "Same thing as last time?"

"Hell yeah! Whatever you put in it is like the ultimate hangover cure. How'd you manage to figure it out?" I asked, curious. She didn't seem like the drinking type, but that wasn't something you just happened to discover.

"I have a lot of friends that have a lot of wild weekends", she said with a smirk.

"And you his happened to stumble across a way to banish a hangover? Aside from drinking some more?" I asked. I probably sounded annoying as hell, but I really didn't want this conversation to end.

"Well, as you can see, coffee is my calling", she gestured to the area around her. As I was thinking of something witty to say, my phone went off. It was a text from Vic, telling me to get back to the house for band practice. I groaned.

"Something wrong?" she asked, looking adorably concerned.

"Not really, I just have to get to band practice. I probably pissed someone off, and they're using my hangover against me", I complained. Damn, I was never usually this whiny around girls.

"Can't say I envy you", she cringed. "Hope this helps!" With that, she handed me the coffee.

"Oh, before I forget, this is for last week", I said, while cramming a five into her tip jar.

"I told you last time was on the house", she argued.

"And I'm a gentleman. A gentleman always pays", I said with a wink. She gave me an amused look. "What? A gentleman can party too!" I defended.

"Go get to band practice, Hangover Boy", she said and rolled her eyes.

"Until next time, Super Girl!" I saluted and left. I stood outside the house until I had finished my coffee, then went inside to band practice.

Hey guys! Sorry I suck at updating, if anyone actually reads this. I actually have like 15 chapters written, I just HATE typing. A little feedback would help me update quicker! I don't want to be one of those "I need x amount of votes and comments before I post the next chapter!" People, but one small comment would mean a hell of a lot to me! Thanks, Sierra
