It had been the day I was dreading ever since I came to Holmes Chapel. My first day of school. I was barely starting my senior year this year and I couldn't be happier. Well, not today, especially today. Ever since my parents divorced everything has been going bad. My dad lost his job and now works at a boxing gym as a trainer. It does pay well to keep us stable. Our house wasn't so much what you'd say "nice." It used and had some things here and there, but that doesn't really matter as long we have shelter. Thinking about all this makes me realize I should probably get a job.
Anyways, I lazily got up to get ready for my first day at Holmes Chapel High. I really wasn't feeling good either so that wasn't a really great start. I changed into a loose but comfortable jacket with some leggings. I wasn't really in the mood of getting dressed up. I curled my hair and decided to go with a full make-up look at least to look some what presentable.
I went downstairs to eat something and lighten me up. My dad was his normal self drinking his apple tea and reading the newspaper. It made me some what happy knowing I had my dad. My mom wasn't really there for me, she was always out with her friends and employees. The main reason of my parents' divorce was because of my mom cheating on my dad. I could tell my dad wouldn't admit it, but he truly did love her.
"Morning baby girl."
"Morning dad." I said while I made myself a homemade French Vanilla coffee. I sat down next to my dad and ate my coffee and bagel.
"What's new today?" I asked my dad once I swallowed my bagel.
"Eh, nothing it's all the same as always." He responded with a sweet loving smile. I finished my bagel and coffee and grabbed my backpack, phone, and keys.
"Bye dad. See you after school?" I asked while kissing his cheek.
"Yes. Good luck princess." He responded kissing the top of my head. I said bye once more before stepping out in the crisp cool cold of Holmes Chapel. I hurried to my car to get out of the cold. Well this should be interesting.

I had arrived at Holmes Chapel with the help of my GPS. The whole school itself looked like a maze to me. I groaned at this knowing I would get lost. I hit my head in the steering wheel in frustration. I accidentally made it beep with caused the attention of a few people. This caused my cheeks to immediately warm up. Deciding to get this over with, I stepped out and quickly rushed in the building.
The school inside looked way different than the outside. It looked like a high school shown in the movies. I went to the office for my schedule and licker combo. I got there in less than a minute the signs really did help. I entered and saw a middle-aged woman typing furiously in her computer. She looked up to me and smiled.
"Hello, how can I help you with?" She asked not looking up. I took a deep breathe and answered.
"Um, I'm new here and I came for my schedule and locker combo." I answered more confidential this time. She nodded.
"Name?"
"Chelsea Grey." I responded. She nodded, clicked and scrolled through the computer. She clicked something once more and printed out a sheet of paper.
"Here is your classes and in the top we have you locker number and combo. I'll call somebody to help you throughout the day." She said. She walked over to the microphone and pressed what I assume was the school speaker.
"Danielle Peazer, please come to the main office. Danielle Peazer, please come to the main office." She ended it and we waited a couple of minutes until a beautiful tanned girl appeared.
"You need me?" She asked in a thick British accent. Did I mention I came from the USA? Anyways, I waited until the secretary was finished talking to her.
"Ok, alright." She said before signaling for me to go with her.
"Hi, I'm Danielle but, you can call me Dani." She said smiling. I smiled back.
"Chelsea Grey." I answered.
"Beautiful name. Anyways, let's show you your locker it's in the same hallway as mine." She said. I followed her and got all different types of stares throughout the way. I just walked closer to Dani.
"Here it is. You can take out your books and utilities and I'll show you where your first period is at." She said waiting for me to put my bag and close my locker.
"Alright first class is World religion. We mostly have the same classes except three." She said smiling. I felt relieved at least I would know somebody.
We walked down the hall and up the stairs until we reached a classroom with people in their groups talking about nonsense.
"Ok, this is our first period and we have it with all of my friends." She said while pointing at a group across the room.
"Come on, you're part of the group now." She said tugging my hand and leading me towards the group.
This should be interesting...
