Til the Last Rose Dies

I give her a dozen roses

One of them is fake

One that will never wither

Because it's plastic made.

I give her a dozen roses

All of them are colored white

Since white is the symbol of purity

A color that she'll love in sight.

I give her a dozen roses

That someday the color will fade

One by one the petals will slowly fall

And won't stay forever like jade

I give her a dozen roses

That one day will all die

Aside from the special one

That I hope won't make her cry.

I give her a dozen roses

And said those words as we bade goodbyes

Hope one day she'll realize what I mean when I said

'I will love you, until the last rose dies.'
