Ashton: theres no real reason I just wanted to ask you to hang out
Britt: are you sure? This seems so strange though..
Ashton: Britt its nothing I swear, I just wanted to hang out with you
Britt calms down.
Britt: ok Ashton I believe you
Ashton sits up on the canopy. He looks at the neighbors playing with their dog. Ashton gets up to get Minnie and toy then throws the ball out in the field and Minnie goes after the ball. Britt gets up on the canopy and watches Ashton play with Minnie. Ashton seems really great with animals. Britt walks over to him and watches him.
Britt: your pretty great with animals Mr Irwin haha
Ashton smiles and looks at her laughing.
Ashton: well you act like you could do anything better haha
Britt: I possibly can. Shes my dog. haha
Ashton: id love to see you try!!
Britt: I take that as bet
Ashton: you sure can
Britt smiles and puts 2 fingers in her mouth and blows so she whistles for Minnie to come to her. Minnie looks up as soon as she sees the whistle and runs to her.
Britt: BEAT THAT ASHTON !!
Ashton grins.
Ashton: I see that as fighting words.
Britt: got that right
Ashton: oh.. I got you
Ashton goes up to Britt. Picks her up and throws her over his shoulder. Britt screams.
Ashton: so you give up
Britt: YES PUT ME DOWN
Ashton doesn't let her go but he holds her. Britt and him are making eye contact. She shivers up and looks away but Ashton is still holding her.
Ashton doesn't hesitate. He turns her head and kisses her. Britt pulls away and her face is incredibly red. That was totally unexpected.
It was an awkward silence. Britt licks her lips and finally says
Britt: um.. hey I got to get home. I wanna bring Minnie back home :)
Ashton lets her down and turns red.
Ashton: oh ok :) so ill see you tomorrow at the game I guess
Britt: youll see me tomorrow at school haha
Britt says that while she grabs Minnie's leash and heads for the door. Ashton leads her to the front door. Britt says goodbye to Ashton and walks towards her house. Once she opens the door Minnie runs to the living room and jumps on Britt's mom. Britt follows Minnie.
Britt: hey mom look who's back
Britt's mom is in complete and utter shock.
Britt's mom" oh my.. where did you find her?
Britt: some guy I know from the football team found her and took her home oh my gosh im so happy
Ryan her brother walks in. He seems suspicious and gives her a look.
Ryan: so I hear your dating Ashton ?
Britt: no... where did you get that idea?
Ryan: word around the school is that you and Ashton went out on a date today and it was supposed to be a secret?
Britt: im single first of all.. don't believe what the fuck people say. Your making yourself look stupid by even asking me a question like that
Ryan: ok.. sorry..
Britt stomps upstairs. She doesn't like the fact that people think that shes dating someone who she just wanted to hang out with. She still has a thing for Daniel. Which doesn't seem to fade.
The next morning Britt had her very first game to cheer at. How excited she was. She has a friend and her crush there. Shes getting really excited bout this whole cheerleader thing. Today is their first game. Britt doesn't even know what she has to do. She just throws on the outfit and wears the for the day. Britt has to wear bows. Which she hates wearing. She runs to school. Ashton was outside the school laughing with some of the guys from the team. His main clique is Blake, Daniel and Jake.
Britt walks slowly past them. Ashton stops and yells out Britt's name. He calls her over and Britt gets really tense. She hates meeting new people. Daniel was even there which made it worse. She walks to them slowly.
Britt: oh hey Ashton
Ashton smiles.
Ashton: so I want you to meet the boys.. well my boys.
Britt: aha ok Ash
Jake: so this Is the pretty little girl you were talking about.
Ashton: shut up.. buit these are the guys to root for.. the other guys aren't as cool as this clique aye
Britt: so you want me to cheer for only you?
Ashton: yeah :)
Britt: I can do that
Ashton: well this is Jake.. Daniel and Blake
Britt: I already know Danny
Ashton: oh.. then never mind hah
Britt smiles shyly.
Britt: im gonna go.. ill see you tonight at the game :) or at lunch haha
Ashton smiles and pulls her close to him. Britt hugs him and she pulls away. She's so shy around people.
Britt: I got to go to class .. but ill see you later :)
Britt waves and gets to class. Shes excited for the night even though she doesn't know what routine she is even supposed to do for the night.
At the game Britt is all prepared in uniform with her cute pom poms ready to cheer. Ashton thinks she looks stunning in her outfit.
As the game is going on the team that their school is competing against, Ashton gets the ball and Britt cheers him on really loudly and Ashton passes the ball to Daniel and Britt cheers them both on. Ashton is doing a great job. Ashton keeps looking in the crowd to see Britt cheering him on. Its making him do a lot better, When he hears her soft voice and her smile. Especially the cheers she is doing. He knows it is about him so he smiles and its making him do a whole lot better.
Its finally break time. Daniel walks over to Britt. Daniel and Ashton walk to Britt. Some guy pulls Ashton aside real quick. Daniel keeps walking to her.
Daniel: hey nice cheers hah
Britt: oh please you act like im the best cheerleader in the world
Daniel: you could be.. aha
Britt: too see that you would have to have some bad vision or bad ears because my horrible voice and lack of energy probably makes me the worst cheerleader in the world.
Daniel: never if anything to me your the best cheerleader
Britt: never in my life !
Daniel: Britt I will give you an award to prove your the best cheerleader well.. for me :]
Britt smiles. She couldn't take it no more.. she goes up to him and kisses him but right when she kisses him.. The wrong time. Ashton comes up behind them. He looks upset.
Ashton: um.. Britt what are you doing?
Britt: kissed Daniel
Ashton: I thought we were kind of a thing..
Britt: Ashton just because we kissed doesn't mean were dating.. a kiss... is just a kiss.. no big deal really. Plus I thought it was just a friend kiss.
Ashton: no.. I totally understand
Ashton smiles and walks away.
