Britt stayed in her room for hours thinking of how to get out of this cheerleading situation. She lays down and just thinks of the horror of being on the cheerleading squad. Most of the cheerleaders on that squad can be really stuck up and judgemental. Her first day starts tomorrow at their practice and the cheerleaders practice as well. Lexi is captain so that's not good at all. Britt decides to just stop thinking and walk her dog. Minnie. Britt calls her over and they walk outside. Britt isn't as cool with her family. She just is a independent girl. She starts walking around the corner and passes by Daniel's house. Him and Lexi are there on the porch making out. She freezes up and just walks away with Minnie. Shes trying to not cry. How much worse could this night get? She runs back to her house and runs to her room and slams the door and cries in her pillow. She turns around and leaves the front door un opened. Minnie ends up getting out the house. Britt falls asleep without realizing. she left the door opened.
At 7am Britt gets woken up by her mom.
Britt's mom: BRITT! MINNIE GOT AWAY!!
Britt immediately rubs her eyes and jumps awake in shock.
Britt: wait what!??
Britt's mom: yeah she got away!!
Britt starts bursting into tears. Minnie. The only person who understood her and stayed with her on cold nights and seen her at her worst times. Shes gone. Who knows if she will ever come back. They start making posters for Minnie so she can come home asap. Britt can barely post one up without crying.
Meanwhile Ashton found a little puppy on his porch. He picked him up and took him inside.
Its time for Britts first day at the cheerleading squad. Oh excellent. Right after all her classes she goes to the outside gym and waits for everyone to come out in their uniform ready to practice. Britt is sitting on the bench waiting for everyone to come out. She goes on her phone scrolling through her facebook and social media feed. Everyone comes out a few minutes later and they start to cheer while Britt is still on the bench on her phone. Lexi decides to walk up to her.
Lexi: hey are you gonne work? Were on this team to get stuff done. Not for you to be on your phone.
Britt: look whoever you are I don't ever care about this damn team. I'm here because I was forced to be.
Lexi: no matter what the story is with you your on the team so your gonna work. And for your information im team captain so I can make your life hell.
Britt: good for you.. bye.
Lexi stomps away angrily and walks over to the coach.
Lexi: coach.. will you tell her to do something? Shes just sitting there when she should be working! If you don't then im kicking her off the team!
Coach: no .. no.. you cant. Her mom insisted to have her on the team because she is a real anti social person. So just make friends with her
Lexi: your out of your mind
Coach: just deal with her and if not well just all have a group talk with her tomorrow.
Ashton walks up to the coach and then Lexi walks away. Ashton came over to the coach to discuss the routine that their doing today. Britt walks over and asks him questions.
Britt: um .. hey is it ok if I can leave?
Ashton smiles at her and laughs.
Ashton: why do you wanna leave?
Britt: I hate this sport I wanna go home
Ashton: hahaha your pretty funny
Britt smiles
Coach: you may not leave
Ashton decides to introduce himself. Hes a very friendly person.
Ashton: hey im Ashton. Ashton Irwin. im captain of the football team :)
Britt: hi Ashton. I'm Britt. my real name is Brittany but everyone calls me Britt. And im a not wannabe cheerleader hahah.
Ashton laughs. He thinks shes pretty funny and quite adorable.
Britt: well im gonna get back to the team so ill see you around.
Britt smiles and walks back to the bench and sits down for the rest of the practice and just watches Ashton play and practice football.
The next day Ashton walks by the coach in the morning and he stops Ashton and takes him to the side to private talk to him.
Coach: ok.. you know that Britt or Brittany girl from yesterday?
Ashton: yeah what about her?
Coach: I want you to take her out.. Not like a date but maybe you can just take her out to the mall or something not even no where far.
Ashton: are you joking.. no!!
Coach: ill pay you..
Ashton: what
Coach: yeah 20$
Ashton: are you serious?
Coach: yeah will you do it?
Ashton: ok..
Coach and Ashton shake hands on it and Ashton is on his way over to talk to Britt.
