Diane!

The Decision!

I led all of them out of the room... I could see Jean and Craig were very worried.. Seeing them  this way made me nervous...

"So then Doctor! What is it that you have to tell us?"

I hesitated for a minute but then spoke...

Avril! She is not possessed... She never was. When I got to know Avril I realized that she had an inferiority complex. She always saw how both of you appreciated Mark and Lizzie but when it came to her, she thought you guys never loved her... 

So in turn she never felt any kind of affection towards you all. One day she thought about how it would have been if you guys didn't have her as a daughter..so she imagined someone opposite to her. More prettier than her, tall, slender, more loved and ever thing she wasn't. 

So she imagined Diane to be everything. To be her opposite. To be someone who everyone loved and adored. 

So she created an alter ego. But didn't realize it. We offten refer to this as a Split personality disorder. She didn't realize that she had created Diane. Once she created Diane she started to look up to her. But what she didn't realize was that nobody could actually see Diane cause after all Avril had created her. How could they see her.

As the days went by we people started to think Avril was mad. Avril thought Diane was real so she knew Diane was being tortured. They were trying to be separated.

Avril started feeling sorry for Diane. Slowly slowly Avril completely forgot that Diane was a different person and started to believe She was Diane.

Diane took control of her. Avril knew there was something wrong but didn't know what exactly.

Your cat, your dog, the wallpapers, her leg.. Everything she herself destroyed. She was not Avril when she did all this. She was Diane.  Her former alter ego took over her completely, making her forget who she truly was. 

There was a long silence after this rather long speech. Everyone stared at me, amazed.

Then jean found her tounge n said 

"So Avril is not mad? And Diane doesn't actually exist?"

No jean Avril is not mad and aa for Diane, she does exist, but only in her mind.

"So what should we do Doctor? How can I bring my daughter back to normal?"

About that, jean..its difficult. I've seen these disorders before but not at such a serious level. Usually a hypnosis  session does it.. But in this case, it could go wrong... Do you want to take that risk?

There was a moments silence. Then Craig spoke up.

"What kind of risk are we talking about Doctor?"

You... You could loose you daughter forever.. If she looses her head n get violent, she could do something drastic...n Die... Cause you see the hypnosis doesnt always work.

"Oh! Um!!"

But there are chances that it could work! And I'm willing to try.

"I'm willing to try too!! I'm willing to do anything to get my daughter back!"

Very well then.. If that's ur decision we will go ahead with it. But im going to have to need you to sign a few documents stating that you are proceeding with this procedure at your own risk and that if anything happens I will not be responsible for it. If you agree with all these terms n conditions then I will proceed further. 

They agreed to sign the documents. A few minutes later they were signing the documents. 

And now for the tough part!!
