"I love you Scarlet"

Woke up and stared at the ceiling. Then I closed my eyes and remembered what happened last night. It was magical. The feeling of becoming a woman! Just kidding. But whoa. It was me and Agnus last night. It was special to me.

As I sighed, I look where Agnus slept on.

He was gone. I checked my phone.

"Last night was great Scar. See you at work. You're late btw", Agnus texted.

I smiled and then read the last sentence again. Checked the time. Holy cow I am late! Quickly changed and hurried to work.

I saw Agnus and he started snickering. I marched up to him and whisper yelled at him, "Why didn't you wake me up?! We work in the same place idiot!". I was so mad. It's like he doesn't care.

"Your sleeping face was cute that it was hard for me to wake you up", his kind of excuse.

I was flattered but mad. Such mixed emotions.

"Next time, wake me up!"

"Yeah. NEXT TIME", exaggerating the word 'next time'. Now that I think of it, next time meant another sleepless night. What was my mouth thinking? Lewd me!

His personality sure is different. He's kind and sweet but teases alot. I don't see him hanging out with chicks lately. Then I thought of something crazy.

After work, I'll follow him. Find out where he lives and find out who he really is!

As soon as he logged out, he left the building. I'm just tailing along with him. He didn't use a car nor a taxi. We just walked. Then he arrived at the Pavillion mall. All those luxury merchandise. So shiny, ahh, and also expensive. He entered a jewelry shop. Why? Is he getting an engagement ring or something? I got more curious. I quickly hide when he came out and followed him outside the pavillion. After a few blocks I saw a park and Agnus entered the park then sat there on a bench. I hid behind a car that was parking beside the park and my phone rang.

It's Agnus.

I quickly answered his call.

"Hey Scar. I know you were following me since we left the building. Come sit beside me."

Ho-...? When? This dude got eyes on his or what? I peeked and creeped slowly behind the car and waved at Agnus grinning at me.

I sat beside him and gave a sigh.

"So...", I interrupted.

"Why were you following me?", he asked.

"Nothing. I just wanted know where you live."

"You should have just asked. If you wanted to do IT, just say so", he snickered.

I slapped his back and stuttered. How could he say such words?

"I'm just joking. You're so innocent Scar", he still laughing at my reaction.

"By the way, I have a gift for you.", as Agnus gave me a pink box with a white ribbon.

I got nervous and I didn't want to assume THAT kind of jewelry. As I opened it, it was a necklace. It has a pendant with a small magenta-ruby stone. Why this color though?

"You're wondering right now why that kind of pendant right?", Agnus read my mind AGAIN.

I shooked my head then he took the necklace from me, helped me wear it and told me, "Red means love."

Like I don't know that.

"I love you Scarlet. This necklace will tell the world that you are mine now."

My heart skipped a beat. My eyes widened. He stared at me with those eyes and there was no dimple. His arm on the bench suddenly moved to my waist and he pulled me closer. His other hand touched my cheek and pulled me slowly, closer to his face. Those lips half opened prepared for a kiss while I stare at his eyes. I pushed him away.

My reason? We were in public! I can see people staring at us. It was so uncomfortable.

"Sorry Agnus. People were looking"

I looked at Agnus and he was covering his face with his hands.

"Don't look too much. I don't want you to see my face right now"

I wasn't able to get a good look at his face but his ears were hella red! Kinda cute how he tries to hide his embarassment.

I whispered back to his ear my reply.

"I love you too, Agnus"

Agnus flinched and quickly grabbed my hand. We ran deeper into the park and suddenly pulled me in his arm then kissed me.

Under the nightsky with city lights, in one dark corner of the park, we shared our feelings under one tree where no one can see us.
