[2] Escape

Jess POV

I got in my car and start driving to Hazel's school.

I'm so angry we had an assignment in the holidays that we had to do and it is for English.

I arrived at Hazel's school and saw her there with tears on her face. She climbed into the car and said " please don't ask what happened to me." I looked at her I knew it would be those girls in Hazel's class that are always mean to her. 

"when we get home do you want to ride on Bella and Rose?" I asked her.

Bella and Rose are horses. Bella is my horse and Rose is Hazel's horse.

Bella is a golden horse with a shiny soft gold mane. Rose is a brown horse with a silk black mane.

Hazel smiled and then hugged me.

Jess POV

It took a while to get home because we live in a forest.

When we got home Hazel jumped out of the car and ran inside to get dressed.

I locked the car and went inside.

When Hazel and I were finished getting ready we went to the stable and found Bella and Rose there eating some hay.

I put on Bella's and Rose's saddles. Hazel is too small to reach Rose's  back so I helped her up.

We start riding on the normal track.

"Hey do you want to go on another track," I said.

"Really, mum and dad said were not aloud to."Hazel said.

"mum and dad don't have to know," I said and smiled at her.

She smiled back and said " yeah let's go!"

" haha do you want to go in the forest," I said.

"Yes please!" She said.

Jess POV

" this way is much prettier than the other track," Hazel said.

"yeah I wonder why mum and dad didn't let us go down this tra...," I got cut off by a noise from behind a bush.

It sounded like someone said meat, mate, late. Something like that.

"Get your horse behind me now!" I said

She did what I asked.

Then at that moment a shirtless boy came out from behind the bush.

Then two more people came out with no shirts on.

"who are you?" I said

"My name is Jake and this is Zac and Liam," said the one in the middle. "What is your name," Jake said.

"Why should I tell you," I said

"Because I told you ours," said Jake

I thought about it for a little while.

"Ok... But I'm only going to tell you our names ok," I said sternly.

"Ok," they all said.

"My name is Jessie and this is Hazel my little sister," I said

"We should get going now," I said as I realised that it was getting dark.

"No...you need to come with us," Jake said. He looked at Zac and Liam as if to say get ready to run.

I turn to Hazel "ride home as fast as you can," I whispered to her. She turned Rose around and they stated to run as fast as they could.

I saw Hazel holding on as hard as she could.

I turned to see Jake, Liam and Zac all ready to run after me.

"Go Bella go,"I yelled. She started to run and I was so close to falling of.

I turned around to see them catching up with me.

I kicked Bella to say go faster and she did.

"We lost them girl," I said to her with tears running down me cheek from how fast we were going.

We were still running fast when I saw my house in the distance. It was really dark now so it was hard to see it.

I saw Hazel there on Rose. She was crying. I got off Bella and lifted Hazel off Rose.

I sat down and she sat in my lap.

"It is alright, it is over now, we're ok. Let's put Bella and Rose away and then if you want I will sleep in your room tonight," I said to her in a soft voice.

She nodded and smiled at me.

"Let's not tell mum about it or we'll be in trouble," I said. She giggled.
