Mei asks a question.

I get up to the voice of my mom yelling at Sky. I bolt to them they can get brutal sometimes. I see Sky in a corner. I grab her and take her to my room and I don't care what my mom does. I think on what to do to help her calm down. Then I remember she liked it when I sang to her when she was little.

"I want you to know I love the way you laugh. I want you to know I have your photograph. And I know it serves me well. I want to hold you high and steal your pain away. Cuz I'm broken and I don't feel alright. The worst is over now and we can breath again. I want to hold you high and steal your pain. Cuz I'm broken and I don't feel alright anymore." I sing and she cries. I think of another song.
"I can't wait to see your brilliant face you light up the room around the pillow case. She said won't you come over to my L.A. place I got something to tell you and it just can't wait. I showed up you held the door in tears she sat on the couch under the chandeliers. She said she's having a baby and before I could cry your leaving me just when I thought you were mine." I sing. She holds onto me and cries her heart out again for the billionth time in my closet holding me.

I hold her tight and wait to hear her breathing to slow down.
I sing a few other songs that she likes. She calms down in about 3 hours. I can hear mom yelling at me cause I grabbed Sky out of a fight that mom more likely started. I tell Sky to stay in my room and I'll be right back. I walk out of my room and mom just yells in my ear.

"Do you know what you just did!?" She rants.
"No...but you almost beat her...again. She is 7 and she may be a brat sometimes but you won't hurt her again mom I'm stoping this right now." I say looking at mom with the most serious/hatred face I have. She walks back a bit and starts to cry and she slides down the wall and lays on the floor in a little ball. I pick her up and take her to her room. I walk back to mine and open my door and Sky is in my bed asleep. I figure that I'll stay home today and take care of Sky. I pull the blanket over her and le her sleep. When I try to get up she pulls on my arm so I won't go. I lay with her and fall asleep as well. Sky wakes me up and smiles.

"Morning Kolt." She sings.
"Mornin." I say with a stretch.
"Is mommy gone?" She asks with fear in her sad green eyes.
"I dunno yet. I'll go check. Ok" I say with a smile.

I get up and walk sown the hall to moms room and check. Mom left for work. Good I don't want a mouthful about how ridiculous I was this morning. I walk back to my room.

"Sky mom went to work." I tell her opening my door.
"Oh ok. Umm I need to get dressed and brush my easy hair." She get up out of my bed and walks out of my room and goes to hers.

I get dressed as well in a Nintendo shirt and some jeans. I brush my teeth and fix my thick hair. I pull my phone out of my pocket. Mom feces me that she left. And a unknown number pops up saying.

"Hey it's Mei from school and I got ur # from the school just so u know. I wanted 2 know if u wanna hang out today. And y rant u at school!" It said.
"Oh hi there. I'm not at school cause my lil sis is sick so I have 2 take care of her. °_° sorry." I send it and Sky pops up.
"look at my outfit." She says and I do.
"Cute." I say and walk to the kitchen.

I make two bowls of cereal and toast. Me and Sky eat then go watch some T.V. M y phone buzzes and its Mei.

"O ok um well I'm sorry to hear about ur sister. Have fun. Lol jk hey can I ask u something?" She texts me.
"Yeah sure." I reply.
"Do u like me or Mirra more I just wanna know cause u look at Mirra a lot but u act different around me and if u do like Mirra it's ok. If u like me u gotta talk to my boyfriend Keegan Hillman." I read the text.
"I like both of u but I really like Mirra please don't tell her I want myself." I text back.
"Ok. Nice lol.*U*" She replies.

I watch the telly for about a few hours and Sky passes out again and I grab my sketch pad and draw Mirra and Mei. The pictures turn out pretty good. I write some poems down and text mom saying I stayed home with Sky. She doesn't care so why do I even bother. I lean back in my chair and think. Mom comes home at like five. I leave the house with Sky to meet up with Mei and Mirra. I asked if Sky could come they said they didn't mind. Sky likes them and Mei really likes Sky. So does Mirra.
