She's MINE.

Mirra and I talk.

The next few days Mei is trying to get me a Mirra together. I act like I don't notice. Mei is nice and weird about it though. Mirra finally asks Mei what she's doing and Mei just says its for a good cause. The next couple of days goes on and Mirra is starting to add the puzzle pieces together. Mirra grabs my arm and pulls me into the girls bathroom.

"Kolt what the hell is Mei doing?" She asks.
"Uhh. I dunno." I say.
"She want me to go out with you." She says with a goofy grin.
"Pfffft. Whatever." I say crossing my arms.
"Mhhmm. Like I haven't noticed." She said and pulled me to a locker.
"Hey umm who told you that she was?" I asked.
"Mei told me." She said smiling.
"Damn it, she lied to me!" I walk off to find Mei.

I find her with another student. I see she's in a deep conversation.  I tap her shoulder.

"Oh, hi."  She said smiling.
"Don't act innocent." I cross my arms.
"What?" She asks.
"You told Mirra I liked her. Why and after you said you wouldn't." I say eagerly.
"I didn't say anything Kolt I promise." She swears.
"Yeah whatever." I say walking to seventh period.

I sit alone in the back and write in my poem note book. I skipped eighth period and walked home pissed off. Sky greets me at the door. I ignore her and run to my room. I lay in my bed humming to a song I heard Mirra sing in class one day.

I check the time and it's around eight. I pass out singing that song over and over again.

I woke up to my phone buzzing like crazy. I look at my phone and its Mei saying she was sorry. I text her back saying I didn't care. She asked if I was ok. I said yea. Then Mei said good I don't want you going and trying to kill Steven. I asked why and she said that Mirra was dating him. I through my phone and screamed. I grabbed my jacket and my vans. I ran out side and went to Mirra's house. I walked there and her light was on. I knocked on her door she answered.

"Kolt? What are you doing here at nine p.m.?" She asked.
"Are you dating a boy named Steven?" I ask annoyed.
"Yea why?" She smiles.
"Just wanted to know myself." I say walking away.
"Wait, Kolt come back, please, let's talk. Ok my dad isn't here so it's cool." She says.
"(Sigh) Ok whatever." I say walking in her house.
"Wanna go to my room or here in the living room?" She asks sitting on the sofa.
"Here is fine." I sit.
"You wanna talk about Steven or something else?" She asks with a yawn.
"Steven." I say firm.
"Ok what about him." She lays her head on my shoulder.
I stiffen. "How did you two meet?"
She blows her hair out her face. "At the debate club."
"Is he nice?" I ask holding her soft hand.
"I dunno we never talk." She answers honsetly.
"Oh then why you go with him?" I ask.
"Mei said he was a football player and he was cute so we went on a date and a few more after that and he asked me out and answered yes." She said quietly.
"Oh." I say.
"Why do you even care?" She asks.
"I care cause I care about you!" I say a bit loud.
"Oh." She says sitting up letting go of my hand. I feel rejected and lost when she looks at me with her big. sad. blue eyes.
"I'm sorry, Mirra I just want you to be happy I'll let you be." I get up.

I walk out the house with out looking back. I run home. I walk in the house quietly and walk to my room I lay in my bed and think. Wait I have an idea. I'll just take Mirra and make her love me. Yea I'll do that. I'll make her want me. First I need a plan my poetry and my phone. I pick my phone and grab my poem book and some paper with pens. I sit down and write out my new poems. I also make a plan. After what feels like twenty minutes I stop and check the time. It's about three a.m. I sleep on the idea Mirra will be mine.
