That conversation wasn't very long. But I had talk to Tyler about the ceremony. Its still fall but sense they were going to be playing they had to get everything figured out quick.

I started walking to Tyler's house and on the way there I noticed our old tree house high above the grounds. It brought back some good and bad memories. Mostly bad though. That's when I remembered my seasonal depression for winter. These days were always the hardest. But I can't give Sam will be here with me and she always makes me happy.

I arrived at Tyler's house and walked right in because he was expecting me. I went down in the basement where we would rehearse and play. Tyler throws me my drum sticks and I sit next to him on the couch.

"Hey so what did you need?" I say.

"Oh I wanted to make sure that nothing was awkward between you and me." he said with a worried look on his face.

"Oh nah we're good. But your buying me new sheets and a new blanket." I said as I pointed a drumstick in his direction.

"Ok I can live with that" he laughed.

"Is that all because if so I'm gonna be a little mad because you could have just called me" I said as I raised my eyebrows.

"Oh no there was something else. Ahhh what was it." he had his finger on his chin like he had forgotten what else he was going to tell me. "Oh! Now I remember. Over winter break my family is taking a trip and I have to go because it's a family thing." my smile dropped when I heard these words come from Tyler's mouth. "And I tried to get out of it because I knew that it was gonna make it harder on you but the more I asked the longer we're staying. I'm sorry. I just thought I should tell you in person." he placed his hand on my shoulder and pulled me in for a hug.

"I have to go Ty sorry" I set my drumsticks down on the couch put my head down and left his house. I began walking to Sam's house instead. If she leaves I don't know what I'm going to do. I arrived at Sam's house. I knocked on the door in hopes of an answer.

Sam's prov

I heard a knock on the door. For the first time I was hoping it wasn't Josh. My dad had just told me that we were going put of town for some family thing and I had been crying for the past hour. I didn't want Josh seeing me like this. I approached the door and slowly opened the door. It was Josh. The moment he saw me he hugged me. My face was buried in his chest. But it was comfortable. Surprisingly.

Once he let go I shut the door and he followed me to my room.

"Are you ok? You look like you've been crying." we were holding hands he was rubbing his thumb in a circular motion to comfort me.

"Yeah I'm fine" I wiped my face and placed my hair behind my ears. "How are you?"

"Well I just found out that Tyler's leaving for winter break. Soooo...not sure" he said it like if Tyler left something bad would happen.

We sat in silence for a while.
Until Josh had received a text.

"What was that for?" I asked.
"Oh it's just because I have to pick up my pills for my......ummmm...never mind I have to go" he put his hands in his pockets and left. "Oh and Sam one more thing. Tyler and I are having our last rehearsal before he leaves tomorrow. Wanna go?" he said just before he got to the door.

"Yeah of course." I was worried about Josh. Maybe Tyler knows what was going on with him.

I texted Tyler.

Sam: hey quick question
Ty: yeah??
Sam: do u know what's going on with Jishwa
Ty: excuse me
Sam: what??
Ty: let's clear this up u do NOT CALL JOSH JISHWA THAT IS MY THING AND MINE ONLY
Sam: ok
Ty: GET UR OWN FREN. DO U GOT THAT!?!?!
Sam: yeah ok I'm sorry
Ty: good. U were sayin
Sam: do u know what's wrong with josh
Ty: ye... No no y
Sam: ok
