A New Day // Josh Dun

{thirteen} Rehearsal

The boys have been practicing all week just so they could figure out songs for the ceremony. By the time I got there Josh greeted me with a big smile.

Damn why dose he have to be so cute?!?!

Tyler saw me and walked over to where Josh and I were standing.

"Do you guys want a drink? Don't worry it's soda." he said with a little laugh.

"Yeah sure, do you want some Sam?" Josh looked at Tyler, then to me.

"Yeah I guess" I was a little shy but I didn't know why.

We got our sodas and went down to the basement. Josh sat at his drums and Tyler took his place on the small platform.

They started playing songs. The first one was really catchy.

"Down in the forest we'll sing a chorus. One that everybody knows. Hands held higher we'll be on fire. Singing songs that nobody wrote" Tyler sang out with all his heart.

They played for about an hour or so and were over.

"Forest" will forever be stuck in my head. A sweaty Josh got off his seat and approached me.

"Hug?" he spread out his arms and inched closer by the second.

"Uhhhh I don't think so" I said taking a step back.

"Ok...." he said and went to get a drink.

I turned around and next thing I knew I was being hugged.

"EWWWW!!! JOSH!!" I started giggling.

"LOVE YOU TOO BABE!" he started laughing with me.

"That's gross" I couldn't help to do anything but laugh.

"I know" he was still laughing a little. He kissed me on the check and let go.

"You need a shower" I said jokingly.

He started laughing "hey, I put everything I had into that rehearsal."

"Yeah, I know." I pecked him on the lips and went to get another drink.

I sat next to Josh on the couch. We pretty much just sat in silence for a while. But I wasn't awkward.

Then he started tickling me....

"Josh stop it!!!!!" I laughed so hard I dropped my cup on the floor.

"Why?!" he said laughing at me.

"Because I said so!" still laughing.
"Fine..." he smiled the cutest little smile. "Well at least the cup was empty" he laughed a little.

"Yeah that's true" I smiled at him and picked up my cup.

Tyler walked over and clapped his hands. "Well my moms about to make dinner so if wanna stay then stay or you can go home because I don't really care."

"I think I'm gonna take Sam to my house and we can order some pizza. What do you think, Sam?" Josh said.

"Um, yeah sure. Pizza sounds pretty good so why not." I said and we both got up.

We left Tyler's house and got in Joshs car
