I was about to head out after breakfast this morning when jade text.
From jade:
Hey Erin thought I would let you know my parents said you can have the job if you want it x
I fist bumped the air "why you smiling" I turned around and there stood my dads new girlfriend, Jackie "oh nothing, I'm heading out"
I went to go leave but she gripped my arm and took my phone "ahh you can't just take my phone" she laughed then looked at the text.
"Who is this and what is she going in about a job, your going to school" I rolled my eyes then snatched my phone back off her and shot out before she could grip hold of me again.
What is her problem?
You would swear she was my mother.
I drove down the street and stopped outside the coffee shop I was at yesterday.
I was only going to grab a coffee then walk around town but before I got out the car someone texted me, most probably jade because i don't know anyone else.
From jade:
Oh and there's this party tomorrow night and I was wondering would you like to come X
See that sounds really tempting but my dad would never let me out and I really don't fancy a slap across the face again.
To jade:
See I would love too but my dad would never let me X
I didn't want to tell her why I won't actually come. She texted back seconds later.
From jade:
Oh don't be silly just sneak out, Taylor will pick you up X
I might as well, I've done it plenty of times before.
To jade:
See I don't know anyone X
What am I doing? Saying one thing but actually typing another.
She texted back seconds later but I was half way across the road and I can't just stop and read the message.
When I finally got my coffee and was out the shop I read jades response.
From jade:
Oh don't be silly that's why I invited you to make new friends, Taylor and I will pick you up at 9pm outside your house X
Wait how does she know where I live?
To jade:
You don't even know where I live and even if you did who's Taylor? X
Obviously that's a silly question Taylor's obviously her boyfriend.
I walked into the mall and looked straight ahead of me to see what shops there were but there stood the hot guy from the coffee shop yesterday.
It's like he's storing me because everywhere I go he's there.
I put my head down slightly and headed towards H&M.
When I got in there my phone went off, obviously it's going to be jade again.
I pulled my phone out of my front pocket and of course it was jade.
From jade:
Taylor's my boyfriend you silly, he's real nice and Taylor lives 2 doors down from you X
Oh that explains the expensive orange Range Rover parked outside the gate.
That's the only house that has a gate on the street, rich fucker.
I just ignored the text and decided I'll text her back when I'm done in the mall.
I went into a few other shops and wasn't looking for anything particular but it's nice to look sometimes.
When I was done shopping I headed towards Starbucks to get myself a smores frappéchino, never tried it before but I seen a picture of it on Twitter the other day.
Once I ordered my drink I headed out but ended up bumping into someone, making my drink spill all over me.
"OMG watch where your going" I spat out but when I looked up I regretted saying anything.
"Oh ok" he laughed then walked straight past me leaving me soaking wet. "What a gentleman" I shouted before I left.
Well I guess I won't be trying that frappéchino today then, maybe another day.
I got to my car and pulled out some spare tissues I had in my glove compartment (q&a why is the glove apartment actually called the glove apartment)
Once I was all cleaned up I headed home, which I don't want to do but there's no where else to go.
I got home and there were no cars outside, so that means I'm sitting outside for how ever long they take.
I walked up to the door only to find out it was locked, that's great.
I just sat on the step, what a great way to spend a day.
I pulled out my phone and decided to play on some game I downloaded last night when I was bored.
It's an ok,addictive game but I regret downloading it now.
"You ok there" a manly voice out of no where asked, he made me jump actually.
"Yeah I'm fine" I didn't want to look up because I don't really want to face anyone and I don't want to show my stain on my shirt.
I heard someone walking towards me "can I sit" I looked up and there stood the hot guy.
"Shore" he sat down right next to me "sorry about before" he said making me look at him.
"Oh it's ok, it's not like it can't be washed" we both giggled then it went silent.
"Oh i never got your name, mines Ethan" he put his hand out waiting for me to shake it.
"Mines Erin, nice to meet you Ethan" I shook his hand, I could feel my cheeks going bright red though.
"That's a lovely name, so how long you been here?" He asked as we stopped shaking hands.
"I moved out here 2 days ago, I think we bumped into each other" jade said he was the bad guy of the town, if that's true why the fuck is he talking to me now.
"Oh where did you come from and who did you move with" he's asking a lot of questions.
"My home towns San Luis obispo and I moved out here with my dad" he nodded taking it all in.
He was about to say something else but then he shot up and dashed down the street.
When I seen my father pull up, I understand why because my father most probably would of beat his arse or beat mine.
"Who was that?" He asked as he opened the door.
"Just a friend" was he a friend?
