Adrianna

"Marcus." I growled. "You're behind this too."

"Of course I am." Marcus said arrogantly. "You could've joined us. You still can. Come on Adrianna, join us, you'll have a life full of pleasures. A life with me. With our son."

"I would spend an eternity in hell with the devil himself before I would even think about spending my life with you." I spit. I would never stoop to this level. I will not, can not, ruin my son's life.

"Give it up Marcus, she's never been able to see the world the way we do." Chris said, walking in.

"You." I growled. If there wasn't a gun to my head right now, I would let all hell brake loose. "I trusted you. We all trusted you!"

"That was the point." Chris said, making it sound as if I knew about his plan all along. You should've.

"What are going to do now?" I asked. "Everyone's gone. Dylan was the only reason why my father never found out about the rebellion." Dylan made sure there was no evidence left of the rebellion. Without him, my father would've found out about the rebellion.

"True, I might've lost them, but they're irrelevant. I have something much better." Chris gloated. "I have you, Adrianna. With you, I'll be able to anything."

"What makes you think I'll be able to help you?" I said, my voice full of doubt. "Josh went with Dylan. You can't make me do anything."

"I wouldn't be so sure about that." Chris said with a smirk. "Bring them."

Oh God no.

I saw three men come in, one was holding the most precious thing to me. My son. Marcus wrapped his arm around my waist, holding against his chest so I couldn't run to Jason. The other two had Jane and Austin in tow. They looked shocked when they saw me.

"Don't even think about it sweetheart." Marcus whispered in my ear.

"How could you do this to your own son?" I breathed, anger filling me.

"Power, sweetheart." Marcus said, his lips incredibly close to me. "That's every mans weakness. Including your new boyfriend."
That's where he was wrong.

Josh would never do this. He would die before he let me or anybody else he loves get hurt. He would do everything in his power to keep the people he cares about safe. That's what I love about him.

"Josh is ten times the man you will ever be." I spat. In return Marcus pressed the gun to my head harder.

"Yeah, right." Marcus scoffed.

"Marcus, if you're done having your little lovers quarrel, I would like to continue." I felt bile at my throat when Chris called me and Marcus "lovers". Marcus grunted in return.

"Austin, Jane, Jason, I would like you to meet the real Adrianna." Chris said, gesturing to me. I felt my eyes widen. No. Chris was going to expose me.

"Chris, no." I said,my eyes tearing up. If they found out, I would never be able to see my son ever again.

"Adrianna is the daughter of a famous drug lord, and she's also an assassin. She killed her own parents and countless of other people." Chris said happily. I felt tears roll down my cheeks.

"Chris, stop. Please." I sobbed. "I'll do anything, just stop."

"Oh, you think this me trying to blackmail you?" Chris said, his eyes filled with delight. "I'm just getting started."
