The Apocalypse

One thing that no one expected to happen. Happened on my seventeenth birthday. It was something that was so unreal, and it was something that was really hard to believe, that one of the things they did not believe was going to happen was the metaphorical zombie apocalypse. It was said it was just fiction and can not happen because some of the stuff they were saying defied logic, and made little to no sense at all. But it did happen and there was no way of knowing how or why it started. It could have just as easily have been a science experiment gone wrong. But I don't know what happened to other people. But I can tell you what happened to me, it all started about a month ago.

A month ago

I was walking into my room, after I had made myself something to eat. My sister was out of the house, and I was not exactly sure where she was, and So that I wasn't going to be too bored I walked over to my bookshelf and grabbed a book, but when I went to grab a book I heard knocking at the door, so I walked out of my room and went to the door and I opened it. When I did I saw my sister she was with one of her friends. Her Friend was clutching her arm there was some blood on her hand, and there was a small line of blood running down her arm. Her friend looked like she was very tired this was probably due to blood loss. My sister had a frightened look on her face. Then she said something that surprised me. "Lucy, We were walking to come back here when we heard something. It sounded like what you would hear in a Zombie movie. Then out of nowhere we were attacked by a man he had a dead look in his eyes and I didn't know what was wrong with him he kept on walking toward us and so I yelled at him to try and get him to stop but he kept on walking forward and when he got close enough he bit my friend." says Julie. As Julie was saying this her friends skin tone started to pale and it got clammy she started to look worse, like what you see in a Zombie movie when someone was bit.

"Hey, Julie's friend stay with me!" I had shouted as I see her close her eyes.

"Are you alright?!" Julie questioned and also shouted

"No, I feel very weak, and you know as well as I do that when someone is bit by a zombie they get sick and then they turn, Just leave me." Julie's Friend had said.

"No, I can't leave you!" Julie had shouted.

"You're, going to have to leave me" said Julie's friend she had tears streaming down her face.

"She's right Julie." I had said.

"What are you saying Lucy?" asked Julie

"Julie listen to your Sister!, and leave me here!" Julie's Friend had said

We were still on the Porch.

I let Julie in the house and closed the door.As soon as the door was closed I pulled out my phone and called my Mom.

"Hello?" Mom said

"Hey,Mom do you know what's going on?" I asked

"Yeah, I know what's going on and your brother is on his way to get you two." Said Mom.

"Okay, Mom." I said

"When Your brother gets there you need to leave." Said Mom.

Then the line went dead.

I walked to my room and I pulled out and bag and filled it with close and then I grabbed a few books.

Then I went outside, My sister following close behind.

When we got outside I saw My brother's car.

Then I hear my brother's voice say "Come on Lucy and Julie."

And so my sister and I walked over to his car and put our stuff in the trunk I also made sure to have grabbed some close for My brother Leon and I put that in the trunk as well.
