*At the hospital*
Beaus POV
We are on the highway almost to the hospital. Im pretty much going 80 in a 50 area. I hope I don't get pulled over. We finally pull into Melbourne Hospital. We run in and go to the desk in a rush. 'Excuse me, can u plese tell me where Luke Brooks is?" I ask her rushed. She looks in her computer. "luke brooks is in room 7, but he has a very severe case of the flu, u cant go in there, its very contagous" I explain. She sits down,. I look over to avia again and I saw her face get alittle blueish... "Are u ok avia?" I ask her. "C-can I have my inhaler" She chokes out but still breathing ok (not like a ashma attack or anything). Jai looks in his pocket. "I only have mine, and its out...Wheres urs Avia?" Jai says. "L-uke has it...he took it from me earlier" She says. "...SHIT....." Mum jumps up and goes to the counter. "I need to get to my son, he has my daughters inhaler and she needs it, and hes in room 7" Mum says really fast "Im really sorry maa'm , but I cant let you in" She says "Just give her the rest of urs" Mum instructs. Jai hands avia the tiny bit of oxygen he had left. She took a few puffs and it was out..she started to breathe normal again. "Are u good A?" I ask. She noddes and I take a deep breathe.....
*at home*
Jais POV
We just got home and luke is sleeping in the back of the car, with avia who Is also sleeping... We finally arrive and manage to get luke in the house. Beau went outside and carried Avia in.. They ae all had a 2 hour nap..
*2 hours later*
"Jai, Jai, Jai, honey, get up lukes waking up" my mum says shaking me. I stand up slowly. We walk up to lukes room to see beau standing on the edge of the bunk beds. Luke slowly wakes up and looks around.... confused....(the pic is of luke first waking up). 'Are u alright sweety" mum says rubbing her hand on his head. "M-Mum, what happened?" luke asks sitting up. "U vomited in school and wouldn't stop and they took u to the hospital and we took u home" I say. "Avia, honey, please go to ur room, the doctor said what luke has is very contagious" Mum says. Avia runs out of the room. "U two also" my mum says. Me and walk out of the room and into beaus room. Beau sits on his bed and I turn on the X-Box. "FIFA?" I ask Beau. "EH, im kinda tired, I don't wanna play" beau says flopping down on his bed.
*a few weeks later*
(Luke has recovered)
Jais POV
BEEP BEEP BEEP, I moan and turn off my alarm. I slowly walk into the hallway with only jocks on (boxers) and go to the kitchen and have a glass of water. I go back Into Luke's room and shake him. I rolls over and moans. "Get up dickhead, it's Monday" I say and go into Avias room. She was in her room and she looked kinda sweaty. "Hmmm" I wonder and wake her up. I pick her up and get her ready, something didn't feel right. I just shook it off and went to school.
*at school*
It's about 12:43 and me and Luke are In science. The intercom comes on. *Mrs Nicole? Can I please have Luke and Jai brooks in the office* me and Luke walk to the office wondering why we were even going.
Avias POV
I'm in math class and I feel sick today, I think I got it from the twins "only a few more hours and I get to go home" I think to myself. My head pounded and my stomach felt guesy. I immediately run to the trash can and dry heave and vomit. My teacher gets everyone out of the room and come back in to me. "Avia, it's ok, alright" my teacher says rubbing my back. I start to cry. I felt bad. "Sweety, u don't have to cry, it's ok, u just don't feel good ok?" She says still rubbing my back.
Luke's POV
We get to the office. "Luke and Jai brooks, please go to room 21 in the elementary section. Your sister need you, she's vomiting" the lady says. Aw poor Avia, she hates getting sick in public, she feels bad. We quickly walk to the room and walk in. I see Avia sitting on a desk with her teacher holding a trash can for her while rubbing her back. "Avia" Jai says coming closer to her. "J-Jai" she says and starts crying again. " ah hello, Avia seems to be feeling sick" the teacher says, "thank u for telling us" I say and take the trash can from her. "Why are u crying Avia?" Jai asks rubbing her back. "Sorry" she says gagging again. Jai picks her. .We walk into the office again. Jai is carrying her like a baby and she is sweaty, we get to the office. " blegh" I hear and turn around. Avia vomited all over herself and Jai. The lady at the front desk got up. "Oh dear. Here Sweety" she saa handing Jai and me some paper towels. The nurse comes out and takes Avias temperature. 101.9. Poor thing. The nurse handes us a bucket and we text beau.
Jai: hey beau can u come get us at the school, now
Beau: why? I'm at work
Jai: Avia vomited in her class and has a 101.8 tempurature, she can barely stand, we gotta get home.
Beau: aw I'm coming, Sarah is with me (Sarah is beaus gf)
Jai: get here soon
About 10 minutes later beau and Sarah pull up. I pick up Avia and she starts to whine and start to want Sarah. Sarah is a close family friend and has been our friend and has been around since we were little so Avia acts Like she is our sister. "Here let me take her" Sarah says and reaches for Avia, I give Avia to Sarah and get into the car, everyone piles into the car. "Mmmmmmm my tummy hurts" Avia says and beau quickly pulls over. Sarah jumps out and puts Avia down. She leans down and starts to vomit. Sarah holds Avias hair back and calms her down. "Is she alright?" Beau says out of the car. Sarah gave her the look like 'not so good'. "She's not looking good beau" Sarah says and turns back to Avia. She stood up and groaned. She put her arms up for Sarah to hold her. Sarah and Avia get in the car and we start to drive again. "I'm so sorry Sarah" beau says looking at her through the rear view mirror. "No problem.....she's feels so sick, poor thing" she says giving him a reassuring look. "Can I stay at ur house for the week, my mum is on vacation" Sarah asks. "Yeah babe, that's fine" beaus says. "Thanks so much sweets" Sarah says holding Avia closer. "Plus I'll help with Avia and the cooking and everything" Sarah's says. We pull up and Sarah gets out and goes into the house with Avia in her arms
Sarah's POV
I walk to the kitchen and sit her down on the counter. She has dark circles under her eyes and her face is pale. "Come on, let's get u cleaned up" I say rinsing a wash cloth and wiping her face off. She squirmed alittle. "Hey babe. How is she" beau says sweetly walking in and standing next to me. "Oh she's just tired and doesn't feel good , I think she just had to much" I say looking at beau. She nods sluggishly. "Come on sweetheart, let's get out of those clothes." I say picking her up and taking her into her room, we pass Luke's room. "Are u ok with her Sarah" Luke says. "I'm fine Luke" I say continuing my walk. We get to Avias room and I put her on her bed, I get her pjs out of her drawers and put them on her. I give her a kiss on her head and walk out of the room and walk to Jais room. "Hey Jai" I say sitting next to him on his bed. We have been best friends since we were born and my mum and their mum are best friends so he's like my brother to me. "Hey Sarah" he says looking at his phone. My mum is kinda strict and mean, I hate her. I'm always at the brooks house. "What's up" I say. "Just on twitter, how's Avia" he asks. "Oh she's sleeping, she has a high tempurature" I say and get on my phone. My phone rings and Its a unknown number, I awnser
Me: hello?
Caller: hello, is this Sarah Graverson
Me: yes
Caller: I'm sorry to say this but ur mother has been in a accident and didn't make it, I'm really sorry
Me:.....(in shock)
Caller: mrs. Graverson?
Me:..........
I drop my phone and start to bawl. Jai looks over, "holy shit, what's wrong Sarah" he says hugging my tightly. "M-my m-mum" I say sobbing. He just holds me close. For about 15 minutes. I settle down. "Look Sarah, everything gonna be fine, u can move in with us, we have a extra room and Avia will love it and everything will be fine" Jai says calming me down. I settle and nod. "Thank u so much Jai, I love u" I say in a sisterly way.
I walk tiredly to Luke's room and peek my head in the doorway. He was sitting on his bed looking through his notebook his dad gave him before he left. "I'm so sorry Luke" I say very quietly. He looks up and I see tears in his eyes. I run over to his and wrap him in a big hug. He starts crying and I hug him harder. "Sarah?" He says looking up. " thank you so much for being here for us" he says hugging me again. "Luke , my mum is dead, she died in a car accident today" I say. He just sits there in shock and hugs me harder. " I'm sorry Sarah, u can move in with us if u want" he asks. "Jai already asked and I would love to, but u have to ask ur mum" I say. "I will, I'm sure she will let u stay she loves u like a daughter" I nod and we hear Avia crying . I jump up and run to Avias room With Luke following me. I open her door to see her sitting up in her bed crisscross with vomit all over herself and her bed. She is bawling and she had dark circles around her eyes. Luke runs over and picks her up and starts to sooth her. I pull the sheets off her bed and put then in the washer. Beau hears Avia bawling and runs in. "Here baby let's give u a nice cool bath" Luke says and puts her in the tub
