Jamie's POV
I was surprised to see Andre with an empty cup. How I could he. I trusted him to take me to winter formal, and he does this to me. "Why?" Was all I said. I didn't want to start a fight. No I'm not that kind of person. I just walked away and sat down on the curb. For some reason I wanted to cry. And that's what I did. I cried. I then heard footsteps. "Who's there?" I asked. Justin then revealed himself. "Go ahead make fun of me. Andre already did, you can too." I said. He just went up to me and hugged me. I of course hugged him back. I then started sobbing into his shoulder. He just patted my back. We just stood there like that.
Justin's POV
I came to winter formal at about 9:25 and I saw Jamie. She looked stunning. Her hair flying in the wind, and her dress fits her well. My trance was interrupted by Chloe. "C'mon baby let's go in!" She said. We walked in and it was full of kids dancing, partying, and having a good time all in all. I only saw one person just sitting down. It was Jamie. I guess she doesn't like dancing. I just hanged with Chaz and Ryan basically the whole time. When things were settling down I heard a roar of laughter. There Jamie was, dripping wet from punch. Then there was Andre with an empty cup. I was so shocked. I thought Andre was going to treat her right? I can't believe him. "Why?" Was all Jamie said. She then walked away. I ran up to Andre. "Why did you do that to her?!!" I literally almost screamed. "Chloe made me do it. She said if I didn't do it, I'd be kicked out of the group. I'm sorry!" He said. I just pushed him, looking for Jamie. I kept walking till I stopped at a curb and heard crying. I guess that person heard me and said,"Who's there!" She said. I was sure that was Jamie. I appeared in front of her. "Go ahead, make fun of me. Andre already did, you can too." She said. I felt really bad for her. So I did what any best friend would do. I hugged her. She hugged back and started sobbing into my shoulder. I just patting her shoulder. Finally when she was done, I took her back inside. They were playing a slow song, and I saw Chloe come my way. "Hey baby, wanna dance." She said. I knew what I had to do. "No. I wanna dance with Jamie. What do you say Jamie, wanna dance?" I asked. "She just smiled her cute little smile. "Of course I would love too Justin." Chloe's face was priceless, and to top it all off, i looked at Chloe and simply said,"We're over." And walked away. I then walked Jamie to the dance floor and started dancing. I literally felt the same sparks when our hands touched. Then we started dancing.
Jamie's POV
Justin and I were dancing, and I felt as if I was on cloud nine. I now know that I like Justin. The only problem I had was did he like me back. When I was done with my thought, the song was over. "C'mon I'll bring you home." Justin said. The car drive was silent but a relaxing silence. When he got to my house, I was a little sad. I want to spend more time with Justin. "Thanks a lot for comforting me Justin. It really helped." I said. "No problem. That's what best friends are for." He said with a smile. Yeah, best friends.
