"Please go to exit 5 and remember to gather your luggages, I repeat please go to-" The information echoed all over the airport through ears that we're too busy walking and stressing to board their airplanes or get home.
I had just arrived and had my pink suitcase and brown bag, waiting for Dad and Mom to pick me up. I didn't like standing still in the midst of people speed walking in every direction, I felt a bit lost. I anxiously gripped my suitcase trying to calm down my nervousness. I knew that coming back to Alcens after 4 years of being in France, had me baffled, slightly scared and excited then ever. I wondered if anyone would remember me? Something started to vibrate inside my pocket and I saw that it was Valentines message, we had been texting each other endlessly these past days.

So i'm contemplating if I should kick your ass for showing up after 4 whole years or if I should give you a bear hug until you're out of breathe, both will show my love:)*
I laughed at loud and imagined her kicking my ass, and giving me a bear hug until I can't breathe anymore, since that sure sounded like Val.
*Giving me chocolate and introducing me to a nice looking guy would show your love, so I choose that;**
Oh btw, You bitch, I should kick your ass for not visiting France more than once. We all know that you didn't come for my sake even then, but for Joshua's....-.-*
With that I imagined Val sighing a so called longing and a romantic sigh. She probably started thinking about Joshua again.
As I ended my conversation with Val I saw a blonde middle aged woman and a brown but a bit grey haired man with glasses- it was Mom and Dad. I quickly ran up to them and threw my arms around them both. Don't get me wrong I wasn't papas little girl or mama's sweet angel, but I loved my parents dearly and hadn't seen them for what felt like ages.
"Sweetheart! I've missed you so much" Dad said with he's slightly hoarse voice as he gave me a full teeth grin.
"Me too Daddy!" I returned the grin. I turned to face Mom who always was as petite and had her blonde hair in cascades.
"I've missed you so so so much, honey. I would never want you to leave again. Heck I don't want to think about you joining university"she said as she hugged me warmly and I could hear low chuckles. I too chuckled, since university would just be a year away.
As we all hugged each other I could hear my Mom's low sobbing and my heart started to warm up and feel at peace. I really really really missed these folks.

The car ride back was fun and I filled mom and dad with stories about how aunties cooking really sucked and how I had the top grades when it came to math. I filled them in with trivial stuff bit you could see their amusement and happiness. I guess the trivial stuff was what really mattered.
"Honey, do you feel jet lagged? Are you hungry? Adeline baked cupcakes for you at home but you still need to eat real food." Dad said showing his care as I could only think of one thing.
That little thing baked Cupcakes for me? Now this is going to be interesting. . .
"Adi baked? Really? This makes me slightly worried." I said and laughed out a nervous laugh. I really missed my little sister. Yeah she was really talkative and bright and energetic but I guess that's exactly what I missed.
