//Jyushimatsu x Short!Reader//

"Huh? You can't reach anything? Well up you go!" The yellow wearing matsu said, while picking you up, keeping his arms around your waist.

You smiled, and shook your head, and reached up to grab the cookies. You held onto them tightly, as he brought you down, eyeing the cookies. You saw this, and smirked. "You want a cookie~?" You said waving a cookie under his nose.

He followed the cookie with his eyes, furiously nodding. But nooo you kept the tease up. What can you say? Your a short person, and those sort of people are usually mean. Jyushimatsu pouted, and continued to eye the cookie.

You giggled and took the cookie, starting to munch on it. Jyushimatsu stiffened, and stared at you with his wide smile. He only continued to stare at you, making you feel very uncomfortable. "U-uh....Jyushi, it was a joke, eheh?..." You said, backing away from the baseball loving Matsu.

He slowly inched towards you, before grabbing the cookies, making you jump back. He held them up, to the point where you couldn't reach them. He smiled, as he saw your failed attempts to try and grab them. He chuckled, and stood on the tip of toes, making you jump up to try and grab them. Failure, yet again!

You stopped as soon as you felt tears threatening to spill from your eyes. Jyushimatsu's smile dropped as soon as he saw you about to tear up. "A-ah! (Y/N)-Chan! Im sorry if I hurt you. P-please don't cry!" Jyushimatsu said, waving his arms around frantically, hugging you, trying to calm you down.

He grabbed your face by the cheeks, and wiped your tears away with his thumbs. He let out a shaky breath. "H-hey...Look, I'm sorry.." He said, kissing your forehead. After awhile, your sobs quieted down, only a few hiccups now and then.

He then picked you up, and brought you over to the couch. He sat down, and pulled you into his lap. Jyushi ran his fingers in your hair, mumbling small apologizes. It didn't take you long to fall asleep after that. Just Jyushis soothing voice, and his small ways of showing affection towards you.

Jyushi knows how to protect the smols.
