It was no lie that Derek was completely reckless, he was no different when it came down to your relationship with him, he took the best in you and flipped it until you were emotionally drained, he brought out the bad in you, he did whatever he wanted, if you left him, he wouldn't care, he knew you would come back

Oh, what a shame

what a rainy ending, given to a perfect day

Just walk away

And now that I'm sitting here, thinking it through

I've never been anywhere, cold as you

As hard as It may have been to believe, you and Derek one had a happy, healthy relationship, both so in love

it all felt terribly one sided now, Derek was a cold hearted man, he never did care much for anyone other than himself, he only cared about power, power was everything to him, all he needed, you knew there was no use in defending your relationship anymore, what was the point?

If people asked how your two were doing, you would simply shrug your shoulders, Scott had once asked " why don't you try and defend your relationship" and you had simply told him " what's the use in defending something that barley exists"

You put up walls and paint them all a shade of grey

And I stood there loving you and whished them all away

and you come away, with a great little story

Of a mess of a dreamer, with the nerve to adore you

It was easy to see that Derek had built his walls high, his dull grey walls were built so high, you stood there and tried to love him enough, to love the walls away, love him enough for him to trust you

Only thing was

He never did trust you enough

So Derek comes away from your relationship with the funny story about the girl who loved him so much she put her life on the line everyday to be with him, a dreamer who wanted nothing but to love him and for him to love her back, you had done so much for him, and how did he repay you?

He made a fool out of you, he made you believe he loved you when he never did, he toyed with your heart because he knew you'd always come back, you had made up your mind, this time, no matter how hard it may be, you weren't giving him the satisfaction of going back to him, you were never going back

(Not going to lie but I'm actually quite proud of this one, hope you enjoyed)
