true love

True love is all they wish to find,
But in truth the world is not so kind,

Love these boots and love these toys,
May never know of life's true joys.

Speak in tongues foreign to men,
Fall in love again and again.

Never true to those who care,
Never getting your full share.

Always flitting from thing to thing,
No one cares about a ring.

Stick there noses in this and that,
Keeping up their gossipy chat.

Yelling, laughing, screaming, crying,
Talking, walking, running, lying.

There is a chance that love finds you,
But is it really, truly, true?

Only one can answer.
That one is you.
