Alone, do not listen to the voices in your head,

For most are not yellow, but red.

Some never return your money, lent,

But others still pay their daily rent.

Some write your story of wicked rage,

Others go ahead and turn a new page.

In your mind's eye you can see these creatures,

Both their beautiful and gruesome features.

One side is black and one side is white,

When they meet in the middle, they fight.

Little angels, and little devils,

And that one voice that sits and revels.

Or that lazy voice, always in bed,

And the crazy voice shouting, "Off with your head!",

See the animal voice that loves dogs and cats?

Or your fancy voice that wears suits and top hats?

Please listen to the voices in your head,

For most are yellow, not red.
