I stared into my mirror for the fifth time today. It was a Saturday, and I had nothing to do. I gazed into the center and noticed a sort of swirl. It was distorted, and looked, odd. Twisted, broken... but there was something in there... I broke free from my imaginative state and stared in the spot again. I am only 13 after all. My name is Quinn Monte. I live in Esten, Maine in a two-story apartment with 4 windows and a balcony. When we moved here, I knew that my parents would want to stay here. My mom, Stella, likes to take me to the nearby power plant and research center every Sunday afternoon. My dad, Robert, likes to take me to the park to ride our bikes. When I turned 13 three weeks ago, my dad got me a mirror. He knew how much I like to study my reflection in mirrors. I have always believed that there is an alternate time zone in a separate space paradox opposite from our dimension. Dad never believed me, even when I explained that when we see our reflection, we really see our alternate selves, not actually what we look like.
