Chapter 30

"Father... is it, really you?" I asked Sentrict.

"It... is me! I'm cured! I'm finally cured! The dark magic that held me back before... is gone! Oh, Quinn, my daughter!"

We embraced in a hug. Afterwards, I ran over to Inigo, and I healed him with some water magic. Inigo got up, and we kissed.

"I'm sorry I-"

"No, my lady, forgive me. I saw the resemblance. I knew I had to take the blow for you. I love you too much."

"Me too, Inigo. Me too."

We walked over to my dad and my dad and Inigo had the awkward conversation between father and daughter's boyfriend.

"I'm sorry I almost killed you."

"I'm sorry I didn't stop Quinn from attacking you. I kinda figured it from the start."

"I'm Inigo."

"Robert."

It was really awkward. Then, out of nowhere, The Doctor walked out of the TARDIS with a giddy smile on his bright face.

"So, what did I miss while I was gone?"

Clara noticed that Cadence was blushing almost audibly at her after the reunion. He slowly walked over to her and asked awkwardly,

"Do you... want to... maybe... go to the movies? I heard that there are some good ones out... maybe?"

Wait a second. Cadence... likes me?  She thought. Well, actually, it was kind of obvious. The Doctor stood silently behind her.

Clara replied, "I'm so sorry, Cadence. I like you, I really do, but as a friend. Besides," she turned, smiling at the Doctor. "I'm taken."

She grabbed the Doctor's jacket lapels, and pulled him into a kiss.

Quinn clapped and cheered, Inigo let out a loud whistle, and Rose covered his eyes, flailed his tendrils, and yelled, "Jeez, get a room!"

Cadence looked down like a little puppy dog and said,

"Ah, dang it!"
