Chapter 19

We went out of the Abyss realm to the SkyBorn realm through Soren's Realm Crystal.

"Don't look at me like that, Quinn. You have a a Realm Crystal too. It's just in your heart."

"Yeah... and so is my supposed 'pure self'."

"Come on, Quinn. It's true!" Soren exclaimed. We continued on the stony pathway. As we walked, Soren told me where we were going.

"It's amazing, Quinn! The Air Sanctuary! It's a giant castle kingdom suspended in the sky! It's beautiful!"

"Whatever you say, Soren. I'll believe it when it see it."

For the past three weeks, I've been training my dark magic with Soren. He's a pretty good teacher., I guess. He's pretty good at Air magic; he loves to play pranks on me. One day after training, he flew into the air and dumped a bucket of water on me. After I had woken up for the day, I came downstairs in the Air Temple to find him trying to set up a prank.

"Very funny, Soren. Can't fool me." I said boldly as he was positioning the water bucket over his head. He jumped up in surprise, and the bucket he had positioned above him tilted over and drenched him. I couldn't stop laughing as he flew down completely drenched.

"About time I got you, Soren."

"Not funny," Soren said in a grumpy tone. He showed me the training grounds at the temple. As we started to walk over, I noticed his Realm Crystal was burning a bright red.

"Why is it glowing, Soren?"

"Well, I want to show you another realm, my home town, the Underworld Realm."

He looked excited to be going home. When he opened the portal, I thought to myself about Saffron. I hadn't thought about her in weeks. I wonder if she is okay...
