The next day I woke up to find Joe staring at me."Good morning Super spy,since you escaped the bad guys.If you are going to live here you gonna have to get a job.Here are some of Barry's old books on Forensic science since Barry sometimes needs assistance with his job sometimes"."Okay" I say with a grogy tone.I got dressed and sat on my bed for an hour reading all 12 textbooks.Joe comes in with breakfast and gives me a strange look "are you finished already?"
I give him a slight nod and he almost dropped the breakfest tray out of astonishment."Woah your fast he said as he gets his balance back and hands me breakfast.I turn my head to see Zoom standing in the middle of the street.Joe walked away after he put the forenics test on my bed without seeing him.I waved to him and he waved back.Meanwhile back at the warehouse Grayson,his twin and the scientist began picking up the mess around the lab.
"There goes our best chance at world domination.The girl is the key to taking over the world ,she has the hightest intelligence,she is very strong,and has all of her abilities and senses enhanced.We have to find her she is our only hope"the scientist said with a determined look on his face.As I was doing my test,Zoom began planning to erase my memory about having superspeed.Zoom quickly ran into the house and placed a helmet on my head I tried to take it off but it locked on.Then he began to type in numbers into the helmet."Don't worry you won't remeber having your powers or this very moment but everything else will stay".
The next few seconds were a blur I couldn't remember what happened.
I decide to brush it off and finished my test.Joe walks into the room and saw all my test finished."Come on we are going to the station to get you that job"he said with a urgent tone.I walked downstairs to see the tv turned on and it was on the news it said that The Flash saved the day.
I look closer to see that he had superspeed like Zoom."Have you heard of The Flash"?I shake my head No."Where have you been have you been in acoma for 2 years or something" joe said with sacarsm.I nod my head yes and he immediately apologized."It's okay"i said as we got into the car and drove to C.C.P.D. I look out the window ato see that Grayson was standing there with his twin.I noticed name tags on their shirts Grayson's twin was named Ethan.
A bus passed by in front them and they dissappeared.I look back as my heart began moving at a fast pace.I sighed with a sense of relief and relaxed for the rest of the ride.When we arrived we immediately went into his boss' office.As he looked over my test I dazed out the window to see Ethan and Grayson standing in another building on the same 2nd floor as us.I began to firmly grasp the handles nearly breaking them I finally loosened my grip when Joe began holding my hand to calm me down.I look back to see that Ethan and Grayson were gone.
"Well you passed higher than our most intelligent person in this force which is Barry Allen so you can get the job the captain said as he interrupted my thoughts."Great"I reply back.Joe and I walked out of The captain's office and began talking about Barry.Joe explained to me that he is his adopted son since his mom was murder when he was a kid and he has been through alot,he also began explaining how Barry works.As we walked up to the 3rd floor he stopped me right before we reached my new work space."I need you to let us take a blood test please we might be able to figure out who you really are".
I roll my eyes and agree to do it as I walked into the roomI move close to a whiteboard in the middle of the room.All of a sudden the whiteboard flipped and hit me in the face.I crash to the ground .
I close my eyes and open them to see a unfamiliar voice.As I stood up we knocked heads with each other."Sorry"the guy said with a pained look in his eyes."No problem"I said back."I will leave you two to it as Joe takes a step back."Hi I am Mercedes I said as i blush with shyness."I am Barry"answers back.
