"Barry I need you to give Mercedes a blood test"."Okay"barry said with confusion in his tone.Barry grabs a needle and sticks into my fore arm.I look down to see Barry's arm vibrate at superspeed when he came contact with my skin.I looked away at the relization that he was the guy on tv, The Flash.
"BARRY" Joe calls in a stern tone.^
"What?"he asked as he walked up to Joe.
I heard Joe telling him that ge is exposing and to be careful.
Barry walks over to me and puts a Band-Aid on my arm.
Barry looks into my eyes and I look into his and see lightning moving around his.I look down to see that my hand was vibrating too.I quickly stick it into my pocket.I had powers too.I had a flashback and remebered my powers.Barry quickly runs over and puts my blood into the machine.As soon as he did it began freaking out and would not read it.Barry looks at me and laughs.Joe begins to laugh nevorusly"how about I take you home,Mercedes it has been a rough month for you"."OKAY"I answer back.Joe walks out the room.
I began to walk out when Barry called my name.
"Yes,Barry"
"Can I take you to lunch tomorrow"he asked with a gentle smile.
I hesitated because i was still in love with Grayson but hated to admit it but it was just lunch plus I didn't feel a connection with Barry
"Sure"I said with a kind smile
I walk home instead of riding with Joe it was dark by the time I got home.
I go upstairs without eating and open my room door.I began to change out of my regular clothes into my pjs which were boy shorts and a t shirt when I saw a shadow behind.I turn around to see a boy standing behind ikme he covers my mouth and slammmed me against the wall.I look and I reliaze that it was Grayson but when I look closer It turn e d out it was Ethan.
"Don't worry i am not being controlled "Ethan said with a smile.He releases me and I just wrap my arms him eventhough I never met his smile made me feel like i had known for an eternity.He hugs me back.
"I can't stay for long because the chip will go on in the morning.Ethan begins explaining to me what happened to him when he was younger and how Grayson escaped but he was trapped in a testing room.We began talking more and more.As we talked we became closer friends.As the sun rose after we had been talking for hours.We said our goodbyes and told each other that we would see each other soon. Out of nowhere Ethan reached for me and kissed me.Then jumped out the window.
