Chapter 20
Clove Pov:
Cato has been snippy with me ever since we came in here. I wonder what's going on. I see Katniss looking at Peeta like she is trying to read through him.
"Finnick?" I hear Annie ask from the bed. She is hugging tightly to a pillow against her chest like her life depended on it.
"What?!" He says. He sounds irritated as he looks up at Annie.
Our of no where she starts crying. He ignores her as he follow the guys into the kitchen.
"You know what I'm thinking?"
"Of course. Lets go." We walk a little hiding behind a wall that is separating us between us and the guys.
"So what exactly happened?" I hear Peeta calm voice say.
"Beetee called and he said...* I try to fidget closer to the wall to here this*
He said that Marvel and them are trying to find us."
I accidentally step on Katniss making her speak.
"Dang Clove!" She says but then covers her mouth . We look at each other wide eyes as we hear them not talking no more.
Footsteps gets closer to us and there is Peeta and Cato. Shit Shit Shit!
Katniss Pov:
"Katniss come here" Peeta grips my arm tightly as he drags me to the bathroom. He shuts the door locking it.
FLASHBACK:
" Please don't t-t-t-t-touch m-me" I rub my arms trying to get rid of some of the goose bumps on my skin.
" Oh shut up Katniss quit your whinning"
He walks towards me. Every step he takes forward towards me I step back.
"That's it! I'm going to have you whether you like it or not! He pulls me to me smashing his lips against mine. His tongue tries to get into my mouth but, I won't let him.
He pushes me against the wall trailing kisses all down my neck. I was just about to kick him where the sun don't shine but, he blocks it.
" Wrong move sweet heart." His hands trail up and down my body stopping on my butt, I start to panic as my eyes start to water. My heart is beating 100 times in a second.
END OF FLASHBACK
I snap out of it as I see Peeta.
"I'm sorry Peeta please don't hit me!"
Peeta Pov:
When I lock the door I turn back to Katniss to see her just starring at nothing. She suddenly snaps out of it and looks at me. What shocks me is she starts to back up rubbing her arms over and over again.
"I'm sorry Peeta please don't hit me!" She begs.
I can't even believe she thought I would hit her. I walk towards her making her look at me.
"Katniss I would never let no one hurt you. I'd be damned if I let myself hit you."
She starts bawling out crying.
"Katniss don't cry. I'm sorry if I scared you" I force her to look at me to see her eyes bloody shot red from the tears she just made fall.
I pull her to me.
"I'm just trying to protect you Katniss" I hold her against my chest wiping away her tears.
"Is Marvel going to hurt us again?" Her delicate voice asks me.
"Over my dead body."
I bend down to her level looking her straight in the eyes.
"Listen Katniss when you go back in there you have to be quiet so we can think about what were going to do. Okay?"
"Okay Peeta." She nods.
We make our way outside to see.....
