Chapter 2:

BEEP! BEEP! BEEEEEPPPPP!

I groaned loudly and hit my alarm clock to shut it up. Closing my eyes I tried going back to sleep, but my they shot right open as I heard a knock on my door, I tried ignoring so I could get as much sleep as possible before I had to get ready for school. The knocking got more persistent after the first three. I screamed into my pillow; annoyed at the person who kept up their persistent knocking, and wouldn't leave me alone. Getting up, I stomped to the door, slamming it open.

"WHAT DO YOU WANT?"

I regretted it tjough because I hadn't seen who the person was, it could have been one of my professors. Looking up at the person, I got ready to apologize, but the person wasn't a teacher, it was Knite-su.

I glared up at him, and asked him what he wanted. Trying to control the anger that was bubbling up inside of me getting ready to explode, as my body started shaking from my resistance.

"Listen Kia," He tried passing her to walk in the room, but he bounced off her shoulder, "Let me in."

"You're fine. Now tell me what you want."

Clenching my fists, I  tried to contain my new anger that was added onto my already grim morning.

"Why are you angry with me?" He inquired.

"Stay out of my head." I said through her teeth.

"I don't need to read your mind to tell your angry." He said, looking her up and down. I clenched my nose between my fingers, grinding my teeth in irritation, "What do you want?" I demanded.

"Let me in and I'll tell you." He kept his hand on the door just in case I might slam it in his face.

That actually sounded like a good idea. I switched my hand to the back of the door, but the second I let go, he pushed the door open and slipped under my arm. Grabbing me by the waist and twirling me around, away from the door, leaning against it to close it.

Great. Now I was stuck with him until I heard him out, but, whatever gets me to bed sooner. I Cocked my hips to one side and placed my hands on them, "I'm listening."

He cracked a smile. "I knew I could get your attention, like I've been doing for years."

By now I had, had enough he woke me up, barged into my room, and now he was insulting me!

"That was before I actually met you." I snapped.

"Hm. Anyways this isn't why I'm here." He crossed his arms and propped his foot against the door. My eyes were heavier than my anger. So I  plopped down on my bed,  head hitting the pillow.

"Just tell me already." I said closing her eyes.

Knite-su sat on the edge of my bed, slouching, arms hanging off his legs with his elbows resting on his knees.

"Look..." The black loose hair that hung in front of his face waved aside as he looked towards me, "Today when we have to do the obstacle course, don't get scared to do anything rash, we need to win." He warned.

I kept my eyes shut trying to block him out, but that didn't matter, I was to tired to think about what Knite-su said.

"Okay, now get out." I lazily ordered.

He got up off the bed, strolled to the door but didn't turn the knob. I waited to hear his footsteps leave, but it stayed quiet. Feeling my nose get flicked, my eyes snapped open, wide. Finding Knite-su leaning over her.

"I mean it." He said into my ear.

I blushed, and thanked the fact that it was too dark for us to see each other, only seeing their Silhouettes. Knite-su leaned back, putting his hands in his pockets, then finally he left the room, leaving Kia smiling?
