"cara, i said that i was sorry." i turned to face my best friend unwillingly. "i don't know what else i can say."

we were sat on the curb outside the building we had just been kicked out of, and cara had decided to endow the silent treatment upon me. "i was mad, cara! you know that i always speak my mind! he was being awful to you, I couldn't just stand there."

no response. cara just simply stood up and walked towards the car.

"whatever. i still have to pee." i got up too, walking back inside. i prayed that i wouldn't be kicked out again.

after i went to the bathroom, which was on the third story, for some odd reason, a voice called out my name. "shay!"

nash was jogging towards me, holding a wad of cash in his hands.

"nash, i said you don't need to pay me. plus i already kind of ruined the meet and greet, i don't deserve it."

"ruined the meet and greet? are you kidding? i loved it. you totally told him what he needed to hear, shay." nash chuckled.

i grinned. "so it's not just me who finds him a huge asshole?"

nash returned a smile and shook his head. "everyone does. his manager, his whole staff, even our parents."

"what happened to him?"

"fame, i guess. to him, being famous means you can blow everyone off."

i just shook my head.

"anyway, here's your money. sorry for running into you." nash handed over a couple twentys. "hopefully that's enough."

"thank you, nash. it was great to meet you."

"you too, shay." and with that, he waved and walked away. i walked towards the elevator and pressed that button that opened the door, walking into it when it opened.

the elevator stopped on the second floor. the doors slid open, revealing the last person i wanted to see. hayes.

"jesus, i thought i kicked you out of here."

"relax, i had to go to the bathroom. i won't at you anymore. even if you did deserve it." i rolled my eyes.

"watch it."

"make me."

the elevator halted to a stop, making my heart rate increase rapidly. "what the fuck?" i held onto the metal railings on the side of the walls, wrapping my hands tightly onto the bar.

"we're stuck." hayes pressed the call button multiple times.

"you have to pick up the phone, dumbass." i walked over to the gigantic red phone, and bringing to to his ear.

he glared at me. "hi, yeah, i'm stuck in the elevator with a psychopath, can you send help as soon as possible?"

i rolled my eyes.

"okay. thank you." he hung up the phone.

"psychopath, huh? you're pretty funny." i said, my tone dripping sarcasm.

"i do have almost ten million followers on vine (yes, ik he does not actually have that many but in this story he's very famous)" he leaned against the door of the elevator and smirked.

"good for you." i flashed him a fake-smile, letting him know i could care less how famous he is.

"you're impossible." he shook his head. "why did you even come here?"
