"Thanks for taking me out again" I said to both Tony and Steve
"Well taking you out was my idea, the choice of restaurant was clearly Tony's" Steve grumbled
"Hey Rogers it doesn't matter who chose where to eat, I'm just glad that I got the chance to go out with you guys after such a long time" I say chuckling
"Anyway Nat, Steve I leave you here in full confidence that you won't rip each other's heads off. I'm going to go and check on our reservations " Tony said leaving me and Steve in the lobby
I glared at Tony for ditching me
I don't know why I'm so afraid to be alone with Steve I've never had this problem before
"That's before you left before he broke your heart" a voice in my head whispers
" oh shut up Wanda!" I mumbled
"Huh what?" Steve Said looking up from his phone
"Nothing" I say turning to face the window
I see him approaching in the reflection of the window

I put my phone back in my pocket after texting Sharon for a quick update on how her evening was going.
I saw Nat mumble something with a frustrated look on her face. God she looked so cute.
"Get a grip Rogers your going to be engaged you have a fiancée you need to let Nat go!" A voice chided in his head
But somehow he found himself walking towards her
"Hey" he said softly
"Hi?" She questioned
"Look Nat-asha, I've missed having you around. Without you it was as if a piece of me was gone" he continued
" i know the feeling " she said looking up at him
"For someone trained not to feel you sure do" he said suppressing a smile
"Shut up! You had to ruin it!" She yelled at him playfully
"Ruin what?" He asked innocently
"Oh you know what" she replied laughing
"Do I now?" He said mockingly

"I'm not sure I do please enlighten me" he responded leaning in

His body seemed to move on its own accord as it stopped millimetres from her face he stared into her beautiful emerald eyes. She licked her ruby red lips as she stared back at him unflinchingly they both began to close the gap.
"Well well well what do we have here?" Tony said walking back into the lobby
Nat and I jumped apart blushing
"I'll have you know stark it's definitely not what it looks like!" I said rubbing the back of my neck
" so let me get this straight you want me to believe you weren't about to suck faces with Romanoff? Sure ok that's totally believable" Tony said smirks
"Shut up Tony are we going to eat or not?" Nat said recovering
