Imagine: Nate dies and Matt convinces Mark to perform alchemy in order to bring him back but then something goes wrong and they create a horrible beast and Mark loses his body while Matt loses a couple of limbs and Matt revives him by embedding his soul into either Peepachu or Tiny Box Tim using Matt's own blood and then Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood happens
(bonus if while Matt is bringing Mark back he screams "please give him back he's the love of my life he's all I have left.")
