Imagine: (okay, this is going to seem really weird, but it's 3 am and this just popped into my head) a high school AU in which Matt is a fanfic writer on tumblr, and along with fanfiction, he also postst [typo intentional] amusing little updates about his life. One day, Mark starts going to Matt's school, and Matt falls in love with him. Matt begins posting updates about his crush and fanboying over Mark, since tumblr has always been a safe retreat where he can say anything (almost like a diary).
Little does he know that Mark is a fan of his blog, and is easily able to tell that the mysterious crush is him.
Alternative: Mark runs an aesthetic blog, while Matt runs a fanfic blog. Mark makes aesthetics based off of some of Matt's stories, while Matt writes one-shots based off of some of Mark's aesthetics. They're both close online friends, however, they both keep their real identity and name a secret. They also both have a crush on each other in real life, and always wish they had the nerve to talk to the other. However, they both talk to each other every day after school without even knowing it.
