Dream or Fate?

Chapter Four

“Very good!” sir Mark said, “You have mastered it in just a week.”

 

Finally, I have mastered the required piece for today. It’s weird though, whenever I saw a piece, I always think it is hard, but when sir gave me this piece, I feel like I don’t care if it is difficult or now. I think I am starting to love playing piano.

 

 

“And as for you, Mr. Parker” sir said, turning toward Jay “Excellent as always”

 

 

“Thanks for the compliment” he said with a happy face

 

 

I feel kind of envious, ‘excellent as always’, wish I can make sir say that to me. Well, I guess I will have to do better.

 

 

The teacher left us to practice more and told us to just go to our next class when the bell rings. Only the sound of the piano keys can be heard. Jay and I did not speak, things just got awkward between us since yesterday.

 

“Hey are you still mad at me?” Jay suddenly asked

 

“Huh?” I asked looking confused, “Why would I be mad?”

 

 

“Well, you know…. About yesterday” he said.

 

Oh now I remember, but seriously, I was just annoyed that time but I am not really mad.

 

Flashback

 

“You’re so good at ice skating, how can you skate so fast?” Jay asked

 

“Well, I used to come here ever since I was a child”

 

I could see that this was Jay’s first time to skate. His legs were shaking and he is not even moving around. It is like he is staying at the same spot for five minutes already.

 

“Come on, it’s fun, you can’t stay there forever” I said grabbing him by the arm.

 

 

“Hey, wait, I can’t balance” he said almost falling

 

I realized that I was holding his hand and immediately, I let go of his hand and there he fell to the ground.

 

 

“OUCH!” he said “That hurts a lot”

 

“Oh My Gosh, I am so sorry” I said panicking.

 

So I offered him my hand to help him up, since it was entirely my fault why he fell. He grabbed them but unexpectedly, he pulled me towards him. Now, I am on top of him.

 

“Hey!” I said

 

“You know, my plan was supposed to be impressing you with my skating skills, but I seemed to lost all the skills that I learned when I saw you skating so good, so I guess, I should impress you by letting you see my romantic side” he said.
