Chapter 2

Finns Pov

Me and Jake were strolling through the candy kingdom to find any quests we could go on, just then I got a call from princess bubblegum "Sup PB?" "Finn, thank goodness you answered, a robber is trying to escape, she's on the run but still in the castle come and find her please." "No prob PB!, Lets go Jake!" We start running to the castle and as soon as we get there I see a girl about my age jump through the second floor window, she was dressed in all black with a hooded cape, I blushed a bit, she is kind of cute. No she's a robber "Come on Jake!" "Right!"

(Y/n)'s Pov

I jumped out a window after failing to find an exit. It scared me because I was two floors up but I victoriously tuck and rolled, once I was on the ground I looked back to see a dog and a boy about my age chasing me. He kind of looked like a human, another human? I stopped my thoughts and started running, but this boy didn't give up, I made it to a forest and dodged around trees trying to lose him until a root completely caught my foot and I fell, my hood coming off and my bag falling, a piece of bread coming out. I hugged my very scraped up knee, but then I heard the boy and I gathered my bag before running again. I made it out of the forest but sadly it was a cliff, I backed up to the cliff looking off. I was about to run back into another part of the woods before I heard the boys voice yelling at me so I turned around and instinctively jumped off into the river. I swam to the side of the river and pulled my bag to land but quickly passed out from exhaustion.

Finns Pov

I made it out of the forest just to see the girl jump off the cliff. "Jake fly me down there!" He grabbed onto me and parachute me down the cliff. We land next to the river and I looked around for her. Jake yelled at me from further down the river "Finn! I found her!" I ran down the river and saw her passed out next to the water with her bag next to her. I went up to her and flipped her over. I checked for a pulse but couldn't find one "Jake I can't find a pulse." "I think you have to give her mouth to mouth dude." "Whaaaaat no you do it." "I can't bro I'm a dog, it goes against my morals." I blushed bright red and went down to her face lifting her head up, just as I was about to put my lips on hers her eyes open and her face goes red. I scream and jump back "s-sorry"

(Y/n)'s Pov

The boy that was chasing me jumped back "s-sorry" I sat up and pulled my hood up again then tried to stand before collapsing again because my knee, guess it was more serious than I thought. I started crying a bit from the pain. "P-please just let me go, I didn't mean any harm." I picked up my bag, hugging it close. "Please I just needed food." I started crying more, sort of curling up in a ball. The boy started talking again "Jake lets take her home." "Alright." I looked up, my hood falling off my head "What?" The dog turned into a horse and the boy knelt down to me "We'll take care of you for a bit, is that okay?" I nod and he picks me up bridal style and placed me on the horse/dog then sat behind me. I hung onto the back of its neck while it trotted along. It was silent for most of the ride until the boy broke the silence "So what's your name?" "(Y/n) (L/n)." I answer quietly "Nice to meet you I'm Finn the Human." I look at him a bit surprised "So you are a human?" "Uhh yeah." I smiled "I've never met another one of my kind." The dog looked at me "You're human?!" "Yup!" I looked back at the boy who looked somewhat impressed "Where did you come from?" "I don't really know, all I know is that I lived in a town that burnt down along with everyone in it except me." "Strange" They both said in unison "We're here!" The dog said.
