Death is A Blessing (Continuation)

I sat on the couch nervously waiting for Kid to come by. Maka was across from me sitting on the table as she adjusted my hair making it look like it wasn't a total mess.

"What if he isn't coming?" I asked worriedly as I began chewing on a nail.

Maka rolled her eyes and grabbed my hand, pulling it away from my mouth.

"He'll be here."

Seconds later there was a knock on the door. Maka got up to answer it and talked for a bit before letting Kid inside.

I stood up from my spot on the couch, blushing as I fiddled with my fingers.

"You look.... Amazing," he said staring at me, "I uh... Got you some flowers." He held up a bouquet of roses.

Maka walked by grabbing them out of his hand, "I'll take care of these, you two go have fun on your date!"

She pushed me over towards Kid then pushed us out the door. She was unsurprisingly strong.

We stood there awkwardly, neither one of us knowing what to do. As far as I knew at least.

Kid summoned Beezlebub and lifted out his hand to help me get on.

I grabbed it and stepped on. Kid followed me on a wrapped his arms around my waist making me blush, and making the butterflies in my stomach go crazy.

We started moving, flying high above the city which was illuminated by thousands of lights.

"Where exactly are we going anyway?" I asked looking back at him.

"It's a secret," he said as he reached up and moved on of my strands of hair.

I jokingly rolled my eyes and turned back around. Minutes later we landed in a field on top of a picnic area.
