I sat talking with Kid and catching up on everything that happened while I was gone. Which turns out was a lot longer than I had originally thought.

Liz came over at one point and gave me some food, which I was more than grateful for. But it was also a reminder that I still eventually had to make a decision about Winter and Nemia.

"Hey," Elli said walking over.

I smiled at her as she sat down.

"Look I'm just gonna be blunt about this ok? Partners?" She held out her hand for me shake.

I let out a small laugh and took her hand, "partners."

The whole Meister and Weapon thing was official between us, which was comforting in a way.

We all talked some more, trying to avoid the whole killing thing. But that seemed to fail seeing as Winter just collapsed.

Liz, Patty, and I transformed getting ready to fight as Nemia stood up, angry.

"Stupid girl!" She yelled surrounding us in smoke, "always getting in the way!"

I lost sight of Kid, but his gunshots didn't sound too far off. Elli sliced the air as she circled around, looking for Nemia.

Suddenly a force knocked her into a wall, this time knocking her out. I transformed back, except for my arm, and stood infront of her looking around.

Nemia teleported in front of me, grabbing my throat and lifting me off the ground. I stared into her eyes as I began to choke.

I saw a tear fall as she nodded at me, mouthing the words 'it's ok'.

I closed my eyes, crying as I thrust forward the hand that was still a sword.

Everything went still for a second, she let me go and I dropped onto the ground gasping.

Nemia, now Winter, collasped to her knees. All of the smoke gathered up into a faint figure of what sounded like Nemia.

"No!" She screamed attempting to hold Winter, she couldn't though. "Oh god no what have I done!" She yelled kneeling beside her.

It sounded like she was crying, but it was hard to tell as she slowly faded, blowing away in the wind.

I ran over to Winter crying, "I'm sorry."

She only smiled at me.

"Thank you," she said. Her voice was quiet but you could still hear her.

She closed her eyes and her body went limp.
