Chapter 38

Ana spars against Tony and Steve in the training room. "You've got good form." Steve says when they finish. "Thanks." Ana says Tony  looking at them. "How is your hair so long?" Tony asks. "I never cut it." Ana says. Tony's eyes widen. "Why?" Tony asks. " Why cut it when it's healthy?" Ana says. "True." Steve says. Ana takes her hair down from the ponytail and braids it snapping a rubber band on the end. Amelia jumps onto Jon's back causing Jon to smile at her in the mirror. Sayako jumps up into her mom's arms. Ana smiles at her youngest daughter.

Alyssa and lyric spar in another part of the training room. "Good job." Alyssa says Cole coming up behind her holding a sleeping Sally. "Thank you." Lyric says. "Your welcome." Alyssa says smiling. "Want me to take Sally home?" Cole asks. Alyssa shakes her head. "I'd call merrick but I don't know if he'd answer me." Alyssa says. " I'll take her to a bedroom here." Cole says. " Alright." Alyssa says. Ana comes up to her martial arts teacher and friend. " Sally asleep?" Ana asks. " Yeah." Alyssa says. Callie jogs up barefoot to Ana and Alyssa. "Ana the alarm is gonna go off soon." Callie says.

The alarm goes off everyone running to the heart of the base. Ana gets their first instructing gemstrike personnel to prepare for final battle. Callie jogs up beside her along with Johnny blaze. " It's almost time?" Callie asks. Ana nods. Wolverine jogs up a cigar in his mouth. " Put that away." Ana says to Logan causing him to glare at her but put it out anyway. Sean runs up along with Kazuma Ryosuke Betty and Kathleen Michael and the others without powers watching . " Alright so this is the final battle against Torse so let's defeat him once and for all." Ana says causing everyone to nod.
