Wait what?

"I think I saw him near the table."

"Well.. I don't see him anywhere, do you?"

"No... I mean I don't even know how he looks like, I just saw his back and he pretty much stayed with Victoria the whole time so I just figured out it was him."

"Dan!"

"Sorry honey, apparently Olly's done talking with Dianna."

After I congratulated him I left to get a drink. There was almost nobody at the bar because everyone was either at the table either congratulating the couple.

I didn't really find my place in so I went outside to get some fresh air. Images of me and Dianna playing in her garden flashed through my mind. I haven't seen Dianna this depressed since her mom died.

"I love your mom very much. I'm gonna take care of both of you, I promise. That prick!" I heard someone talking.

"Liam?"

"What could you possibly want from me, Sophie?"

"I just... Are you okay?"

"What do you care anyway?" He was obviously drunk.

"They just.. can't to this to me! It's not fair."

"So you don't like Olly?"

"Can't you just leave me alone? You're pissing me off."

"I was just trying to... whatever." I sighed.

"Wait, don't go. I'm sorry."

He got up and started walking towards me but he failed miserably. I couldn't help but laugh when he fell to the ground.

"Okay, c'mon up. Where's your room? Victoria won't be very happy if she saw you like this."

"My room? In England. And I don't give a fuck about what she thinks. She obviously doens't care about what I think, so..."

I feel so stupid because even though I heard him and Victoria talking a few times, I never thought they were english. I was never paying attention to that.

After I helped him get to his room he started yelling again.

"Did you see them out there? Yuck. They're old, they can't get married at this age. For god's sake, they're so fucking stupid."

"I swear, you're just like Dianna."

"Me? And Dianna? No,no, damn no. Now, come, sit. I won't bite."

I laughed at his comment and took a seat on the bed.

"Sophie! Don't!" Zayn yelled as soon as he entered the room.

"What the fuck is wrong with you man?" Liam shouted.

"Sorry. I..." Zayn said looking at his feet.

I don't know why but I started laughing again. Both of them looked at me shocked and Liam was a bit angry too.

"What did you think was going on?"

"I don't... I don't know."

"Can you get out already?"

"Uhm, Sophie, aren't you coming?"

I took a quick look at Liam and then back at Zayn.

"Please stay?" He whispered so only I could hear.

"No.."

By the look on his face I could tell he wasn't expecting that but he left anyway.

"My head hurts like hell."

"Do you need a cold compress or something?"

"No, don't bother. It's okay."

"You're not a really good liar." I laughed.

"Well to be honest I would like that."

"Here, take an aspirin. I'll bring you some water and a compress in a sec."

"Do you carry aspirin in your bag? Why?"

"I... just do." I said while looking down.

"Oh, got it. Don't you need something?"

"Oh,no. It's not what you think." I laughed but I could feel my cheeks getting redder and redder by second. "Be right back."

After I got the compress and the glass of water Dianna almost bumped into me.

"Here you are. I was looking everywhere for you. Who's that for?"

"Uhm... my dad." I lied.

"Is he okay?"

"Yes. He just has a little headache."

"Oh,okay. I'll be in my room playing dart with Tori's face."

Well at least she's in a better mood.

When I entered the room I almost dropped the glass of water.

"Soph? What are you doing here?" He asked.

"Thank you!" Liam said.

"So you two finally met."

"Yeah, I was trying to find you when I saw Liam."

"Why were you looking for me?"

"Olly asked me to be his best man."

"Oh. And?"

"I accepted, of course."

Liam rolled his eyes but I decided to ignore it.

"Well, congrats, I guess."

"You're gonna have to help me write my speech."

"Can't wait." I said ironically.

"Now we should really get going. You have work tomorrow, right?"

"Yes."

"You're leaving already? But I think the party just started." Liam said.

"Not my thing. Anyway, Soph, Zayn and Will are coming over and since they moved a lot of things from their back yard, our car is full so you'll be driving with Zayn. I'm going now, see you home. Zayn said he'll be ready in a few minutes."

"Okay dad."

When he left the room Liam got  up and walked towards me.

"You're leaving?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"But.... How did it go today?"

"Okay..."

"What did you tell him?"

"That I was at Dianna's and that I fell asleep."

"So you lied." He laughed.

"No. I was at Dianna's and I did fell asleep. I just... didn't tell him some things."

"Yeah, sure."

"Can I ask you something?"

"I guess."

"Why were you so cold before?" I once again looked down, not wanting to look him in the eyes because I was embarressed."

"That freaking bastard just told me about what he was going to do. I wanted to kick his ass but I didn't.

"Oh."

He came closer and started talking again.

"Plus I was drunk." There were only a few inches between us by now and one of his hands was placed on my chin making me look into his eyes.

"I..." He started.

"You... what?"

"I really, really want-" He didn't finish his sentence because Zayn just entered the room.

"C'mon Soph, I'll take you home."

I quickly pulled back and went to get my purse. He clearly saw us but he pretended he didn't. That bastard.

"Bye Jam." He said winking to Liam.

"It's Liam, dumbass."
