I was in such a good mood before. I don't even know why really, I just was. But of course it didn't last too much.
"I wanna go home." That was literally the buzzkiller for me.
"Uhm, okay.. but Soph, we could still have fun. I mean..."
"I'm kinda tired though, and I don't want to make things worst with my dad."
"I know what this is all about. You're not tired, you're just... heartbroken about Lebron and Riley."
"Lebron? Haha."
I had no idea what to say besides that. There is absolutely no way I'm telling Zayn about this... thing. I don't even know what's going on myself. But I do know I have two obtions: either I go home and be lonely and depressed or I could stay here.
"If you wanna leave, just say so."
"No, I guess it can't be that bad. Come on, I gotta get a drink."
"Can I ask you something? If you don't wanna answer it's okay, you don't have to."
You know that point where you've had one drink or so and you start thinking everything is funnier? Well that's the stage I'm at right now.
"Well of course you can my dear friend Zayn."
"Are we still gonna go to that Avril concert in a few months?"
"Obviously! I'm really looking forward to that! Can I tell you something?" Zayn was looking at me because I was laughing really hard.
"Sure you can."
"I kinda feel like Avril in the "What the hell" video, and you're the guy."
"Why? You're a mistery for me, even though I have pretty much known you my whole life. I've never seen you like this before."
"Like what?" I put my hand on his chin and then started moving it like my grandma used to do to me when I was little. God that was really annoying. "Zaynie, you're so adorable!"
"Yeah, yeah. I'm not a puppy though."
"Of course not, you're more like a teddy bear to me to be honest. And damn, your hair is so perfect." I started playing with his hair while laughing. I've never been like this with him, most of the time I'm just annoyed for no reason and acting all bitchy. When we were kids I used to do pretty much anything to annoy him and he would do the same, it was our thing. Everyone in our class thought we were together but he has always been like the brother I've never had.
I unexpectedly got really tired and i laid my head on his shoulder and in no time i was asleep.
"No, you are!"
"Whatever."
I really gotta stop drinking because I end up having some really weird dreams.
"What time is it? Oh my god my dad will go nuts!" When I'm agitated or angry I intend to hit people. It's just a fact.
"Ouch, Sophie, you really gotta stop doing that. You don't hit me hard but you do it in the same fucking place every single time."
"Sorry, sorry. Plus I laid like half of my weight on you while sleeping so that must've been pretty paintful too." I said ironically. "What time is it brownie? Did you not hear me?"
"Brownie? Where did that came from? It's funny and all but I'm slightly irritated."
"Oh thank god it's only 2:15. I think it's time to get me home."
We both got up and got into the car. I didn't realise it was so cold until I was inside yelling at him to turn on the heat.
"You know, I liked the other version of you better. You were actually nice and funny, exactly the opposite of what you are right now."
"It's part of my charm, Zaynie."
"You have got to stop calling me that!" He was glaring at me and this just made things funnier for me. It has always been like that.
"Sure thing, brownie."
"If you don't stop, I'll leave you right here in the middle of nowhere to walk home."
"And think about what I did wrong? Yeah, I don't think so. Though maybe it'd be a good idea. There is a slight possibility I'd find someone nice who would offer to give me a ride."
"You and me both think that. I'm sure there are a lot of guys who would offer to give you a ride." Oh, no, you didn't. I've never had a reply for things like this, most of the time I would just flush, just like now.
"Now you're shy? I can not believe it, you actually flushed. I finally have something on you. Damn, it has always worked, didn't it?" I could feel he was pretty proud of himself, though I don't really understand why.
"I hate you."
"So, Sophie..." He didn't get a chance to finish because I interrupted him right away.
"Don't you dare even start again or I really will walk back to my house. Now drive faster."
"Sure boss."
When we parked in front of my house I practically ran into my house because it was so freaking cold.
"Soph? Are you home?"
"Yes, dad. You can go back to sleep now."
"Zayn, are you here too?"
"Yes, Dan."
"Well very good then, leave and lock the door."
"Aren't you friendly?" Zayn laughed.
"I mean it. Say your goodbyes and I'll be down in two minutes to show you the door, just in case."
We both started laughing and then I hugged him.
"This night wasn't so bad after all. Thank you, I had a... decent time."
"Wow, that's like a blast in your words. Yeah, yeah, so did I."
"Good night brownie."
"Good night princess." He said while winking.
"So we're back to that."
"Always and forever."
"Are you gone yet? Bye Zayn." My dad opened the front door and then locked it turning off the lights from downstairs.
"I can't believe I'm saying this to you, but don't be so hard on him."
"We have a special relationship, you just don't get it. Good night Sophie. You could use some sleep, since you didn't have any last night."
After I changed into my PJ's I put my headphones on and played my favorite songlist on the Ipod. I hope I don't have a strange dream again. I would love to dream that I'm a famous designet though, that's a dream I wish I'd never wake up from.
