As the students returned to Auradon, they proceeded back into their everyday regular schedule, which meant dividing into their social circles at lunch. Everyone was seated with their friends, teammates, or acquaintances.
If you thought being a villain's child attending a royal prep school was bad, think about the legacy/social status in the school?
It's royals, loyals (commoners), or viles (villain).
And villainous children born from infamous villains from the Isle of the Lost, get the automatic label; which wasn't created until their arrival. But Social standards and rankings weren't a major reason why the four didn't eat lunch in the cafeteria or outside. It was the healthy and balanced nutrition lunch, which meant no junk food as a side, maybe a cookie or a brownie.
Why stay somewhere when you're not comfortable or clearly not wanted? So the group of friends, along with Ben, hung out in the school's auditorium.
By the double door entrance, there stood a wide variety of snacks neatly organized inside of the dispensing machine and pressed up against the glass barrier were two boys; Carlos has given his money to the snack machine, used the keypad, but his order hadn't fallen from its place. It was mocking the boys by being stuck in place, which led Jay sticking his arm into the mouth of the machine and trying to reach the unattainable chips on the top row.
Meanwhile with Evie, the daughter of the Evil queen, she was backstage rummaging through the Drama Club's costumes. The blue hair teen smiled widely as she found random pieces of clothing in the trunks or racks. Satisfied with her findings, she headed back to the others.
Recently, Evie's been having some creative flow since the history museum and she's actually in charge of the costume designing for the Drama Club! It's an amazing experience for her to put her talents and skill to use.
Sometime within the week, the Drama club will be pitching play ideas instead of the family fairytale classics that were said and done, literally.
At the same time, Mal and Ben took center stage... on the stage. Arms crossed, scanning the empty seats of the auditorium, the deep lavender hair teen took a deep breath to clear her thoughts as the brunette rested his hands on her shoulders.
"What's on your mind Mal?" Asked the young king.
"I wonder what's in stored for us." She turned towards him and their hands slid together.
"A bright future for you, me, us, your friends, and hopefully the other children from the Isle of the Lost." Ben rambled tucking a piece of hair behind her ear.
"Sounds amazing, honestly." Mal nodded. "But there is still some tension in the air between us villain kids and Auradonians. And inviting more villains to attending a prep school, it's about to become Wonderland here."
"Alright, I see your point." He thought spoke imagining a chaos outbreak between the 'good vs bad'. "Wonderlandians do cause a lot of mischief and apply everything in their logic."
"Yeah but Wonderland kids are fun to hang around with." She smiled sweetly at Ben who shrugged in response.
"Oooh talking about Wonderland are we?" The daughter of the Evil Queen walked in. "That could be a good pitch and for the record, Wonderlanians have the most wicked time to party with!" As she and Mal fist pounded.
"You guys seem to enjoy the Wonderland kids, don't you?" Questioned the brunette.
"Why wouldn't we?" Answered Jay with another question and Carlos nodded. "They're mad as the hatter and we're just as evil as our parents were."
"I see." Ben clasped his hands together. Hard to believe Ally was't as mad as the hatter yet because she's just a delight to have compared to the chaotic others.
"Have you had- any experience- with them?" Asked Mal with hand motions.
"Yes of course." He answered. "A few years ago, the school board of the United States of Auradon proposed a proclamation to have Wonderlandians have 'A Day in Auradon'."
"And how'd it go?" Carlos asked before chomping onto his potato chip with Jay slyly taking two out of the plastic bag.
"Lets just say, it went really swell." Ben smiled sheepishly as he stretched the back of his head. "They got to visit for three days a year and their behavior had decreased in chaos."
"So does the proclamation still stand?" Evie asked a little hopeful.
"Uh- No, unfortunately." The young king coughed. "Ended years ago."
"Oh. I thought they didn't attend their trips or were just avoiding us since secondary school."
"Why did your father take away our fun?" Jay crossed his arms. Ben chuckled before answering.
"You guys weren't the only one to try and steal the wand."
