Chapter 11; Sickness

I woke up feeling awful. Urgh. I felt so ill, I thought I was going to throw up. I felt for Beau beside me to discover he was gone. Then I dizzily sat up and looked around. James and Luke were still asleep but Skip, Jai and Beau were gone. I heard laughter from the kitchen, so I groggily got to my feet and dragged myself along.

"Hey Lucy" Jai greeted, crunching on toast. "Woah, you look awful!" Skip said. "Thanks, means a lot" I said sarcastically. Then I forced a small smile to show him I wasn't upset with him. "Luce what's wrong babe" Beau said, engulfing me into a hug. "I just feel horrible" I said. I have to admit, being pressed against his bare chest did make me feel a bit better;) but anyway, I seriously feel terrible. "You should go up to bed" Jai said. I sighed and sat down, making it clear I didn't want to move. "Lucy..." Jai said. "I got it" Beau said, picking me up gently and carrying me bridal-style upstairs.

"Hey Lucy" Luke said softly as he entered my room. I forced a smile. "Mum's at work, Beau and Jai have something to do and Skip and James have gone home so I guess it's just you and me"he smiled. "Do you need anything?" he asked. I shook my head. I was already over cared by anyway. Beau had insisted on giving me 5 pillows, Jai on 3 blankets, Gina on chicken soup and tea and water, Skip on a hot water bottle and James on a shit load of tissues and a sick bucket. Seriously, they're acting as if it's like a disease and a cold and the flu all in one.

"Hey Lucy" Gina smiled. It was just me and her awake so far. I was feeling sick again today. Srsly it's been a week now and it's not getting any better. "Still feeling ill?" Gina asked. I nodded and sighed. "Aw you poor thing" she said, holding me in a soft hug.

Two and a half weeks. Two. And. A. Half. Weeks. I was still sick. I tapped my calendar on my phone and added in the doctors appointment Gina had arranged for next week if I didn't get any better. That's when it hit me. I scrolled through the months, and realised I had missed my period. Missing my period...the sickness...morning sickness. I couldn't be pregnant, could I?! I tried to think of how. I was a virgin, it made no sense. And then I remembered. The day the boys found me. The day my best friend betrayed me. The day my life got turned upside down. The day I got raped.

This is the scariest thing I've ever thought about. Yet it's reality. I'm pregnant with my rapists baby.
