After we talked for a while he looked at the clock and asked me if I could give him a ride to his hotel. 'I already thought you weren't from around here.' I smile and stood up. 'But that's OK. Let's go then.' We walk out of the house and surprisingly I see the sun had finally come out again. It puts a smile on my face and I look at him.

'The first sun of my vacation.' I say happily and I rush out of the door, I smell the nice air of drying leafs and feel the sun burning on my arms.

He laughs and I see him change again. His shoulders relax and he stands up straight. He even takes an effort of remodelling his hair. I can't help but think he looks handsome this way.

'Did you have plans for tonight? Uh... I mean, not like I'm asking you out but I thought maybe you'd like to have fun with me and my friends?' He says a bit insecure, this puts a big smile on my face. I just can't understand this boy. He is so handsome, mysterious and interesting, but still he has been shy in a weird way.

'No, not yet. But I'd love to meet your friends and I promise I won't call it a date.' I tease him. He smiles to the ground like he has been caught doing something wrong. Then he looks up being all confident looking again and smiles at me with one of the sweetest smiles in the world. His eyes sparkle in the sun and it makes him look almost magical. 'Deal.'

He stayed the confident boy the entire car ride to his hotel and even told me somethings about him and his friends. 'They are all a bit weird, you need to know that.' He smiles.

'Well aren't you? Aren't I?' I ask. I don't understand what he is trying to say. All friends are weird, at least mine. Especially when you bring a boy, or a girl in his case.

He thinks about this for a moment, still smiling. 'Yes, well you are really weird. A word of advice, you shouldn't invite any person into your house like that. For all you know I could drug you and rob you. And then I'll still be one of the nicer boys.' I smile. Now it's my time to laugh and feel busted.

'I'm not stupid. I know that. It's just... Oh you looked so sad, you caught me on a weak spot. And my stupid dog seemed to like you.'

'That animal will get depressed if you keep talking like that. The poor thing.' I lift my shoulders. 'He'll get over it.'

We reached the hotel and for a moment I feel flabbergasted. This hotel is huge and looks crazy expensive. 'You rich or something?' I ask him but he doesn't answer me, he just lifts his shoulders and looks out of the window. I want to drive up to the parking places when I realise how busy it is at the hotel. The parking lot is filled with people. Girls to be specific, crazy ones. 'What is going on here?' I ask and he lifts his shoulders. He tells me to drive around the building.

'You can park in the back.' I look at him not understanding, but I don't question it and do as he says. We drive around the building and he shows me were to park the car.

'But I was serious Emma, there will be somethings about us that you won't understand yet, but you'll find out soon enough. I just don't want it to scare you of.'

The way he just said that makes me curious and it also got me a bit of guard. Why would he say that?

'You're not going to do anything to me are you?' I say a bit unsure while I park the car. But he laughs and shakes his head. 'Come on.' He says while he gets out of the car, still laughing.

A way too fancy elevator takes us to the most upper floor. The 13th floor to be specific. I had always seen this hotel from the outside but never been near it. Let alone seen the inside. He finds it very amusing to see me observe everything so I guess my surprised face must have looked funny.
